The Detroit Pistons (14-41, 7-20 away) are on the road Wednesday as they clash with the Cleveland Cavaliers (34-22, 22-6 home), who absolutely flourish at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. The tip-off is scheduled for 7 PM ET. Keep reading for the Pistons vs Cavaliers odds.

Detroit continues to struggle, going 2-8 in their last eight and losing back-to-back contests. Cleveland on the other hand is rolling, going unbeaten in three. That included a big 114-91 win over the Washington Wizards on Monday.

Pistons vs Cavaliers Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Detroit Pistons +12.5 (-105) +575 Ov 222 (-110)
Cleveland Cavaliers -12.5 (-115) -800 Un 222 (-110)

Odds as of February 7th at DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Cavs are a heavy 12.5-point favorite with whopping moneyline odds of -800. That’s an implied win probability of 88.89%. The Pistons sit at +575 with a mere 14.81% chance of coming out victorious. If they can pull this one out though, the moneyline offers massive value.

Cleveland is enjoying a three-game winning streak against Detroit and already beat them twice back in November.

Pistons Betting Trends

Another season, another brutal record for Detroit. While there is some intriguing talent on this roster from Bojan Bogdanovic to Jaden Ivey, the rebuild is still in full effect. Dwane Casey’s squad sits at 14-41, which puts them at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

They’re also just 22-27-2 as an ATS underdog in 2022-23, although there is definitely a good chance that could improve Wednesday. After all, 12.5 points is steep. Last time out, the Pistons were bested by Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics, the best team in the Association currently.

Detroit actually stayed with the C’s for most of the first half until last year’s finalists took off in the third, outscoring the Pistons 30-19. The hosts shot a measly 27% from downtown and couldn’t stop Tatum, who went off for 34. Offensively, Bogdanovic dropped a team-high 21 points, while Killian Hayes added 17 off the bench. Given Detroit’s track record against Cleveland, they face a tall task here.

Cavaliers Betting Trends

Cleveland is surging at the moment and continues to showcase their brilliance on both ends of the floor. JB Bickerstaff’s group is now up to fourth in the East with a 34-22 record and will be looking to make it four consecutive victories Wednesday.

During this latest run, the Cavs have defeated the Grizzlies, Pacers, and most recently, the Wizards. Monday’s win was the definition of a collective effort, with every starter finishing with a minimum of 12 points. Jarrett Allen and Darius Garland led the way with 23 apiece. Donovan Mitchell also compiled 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists.

The defense was stout, limiting DC to a 21% clip from downtown. On the other end, Cleveland shot 56% from the field and 41% from three-point territory while destroying their opponents inside, outscoring Washington 58-38. They also never trailed in this game, leading by as many as 28. While Detroit is never a daunting opponent, the Cavaliers are 22-6 at home. Another victory is surely in the cards.

Pistons vs Cavaliers Prediction

The spread is wide and Cleveland’s last two victories against Detroit came by an average of 11 points. I will rarely ride a team to cover anything over 10 points, no matter how bad the opponent may be based on their record. The Pistons are worth an ATS bet.

Pick: Pistons +12.5 (-105)
