  • The North Carolina Tar Heels are 12.5-point favorites over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a college basketball game scheduled for Saturday, January 7
  • The two schools have split their last four meetings
  • Notre Dame hasn’t won at North Carolina since 2015

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish (8-7, 2-12-1 ATS) were the winners the last time they were facing the North Carolina Tar Heels (10-5 ATS). In fact, they’ve won two of the past four meetings.

However, both of those wins came in South Bend. When the locale for games between these two schools is Chapel Hill, a Tar Heels home victory is generally the outcome.

Oddsmakers are putting North Carolina into a role as heavy favorite for this game. The Tar Heels are 12.5-point home favorites over the Fighting Irish. North Carolina is 7-0 straight up at home this season, but just 3-4 ATS in those games.
