Saint Louis is a 5.5-point favorite over St. Bonaventure, while the total is 141.5. The -275 moneyline price for the Billikens amounts to a 73.3% implied win probability, while the Bonnies’ +225 odds to win is equal to 30.8% implied probability.

When it comes to mid-majors with a shot at making a March Madness run, St. Bonaventure is at +2800 in the Final Four odds, while Saint Louis is considerably longer at +10000.

Mark Schmidt’s team got a game-high (and season-high) 21 points — to go along with 10 rebounds — from senior guard Dominick Webb in the 25-point blowout victory over the Rams. Fellow senior Kyle Lofton had 19 points and the team’s leading scorer Jalen Adaway added 13 and nine boards in the win.

Meantime, Travis Ford saw junior guard Fred Thatch Jr. tally 14 points and 10 rebounds in an 18-point win against the Explorers. Francis Okoro added 19 points and seven boards as the Billikens won their sixth straight.

St. Bonaventure vs Saint Louis Recent H2H Results

The Bonnies have taken down the Billikens in 10 of the last 13 meetings between the two A-10 programs., including a 71-53 win in their last matchup. St. Bonaventure enters Friday’s tilt having snapped a two-game losing streak in resounding fashion.

The Bonnies dominated the Rams in the second half, limiting them to 30% shooting after halftime and only 32% for the game. St. Bonaventure also finished with a season-high 52 rebounds in the confidence-boosting victory.

Schmidt’s group features an experienced roster with five seniors averaging double-figures. Because of that group, the team was picked to win the A-10 this season. But the Bonnies currently sit in sixth place in the league standings (and are only one game over .500 in conference play).

This group has underwhelmed during the 2021-22 campaign (losing to Northern Iowa at home and George Mason on the road), but a victory Friday could set the Bonnies up for a thrilling three-week conclusion to the regular season.

Saint Louis Is 4-0 ATS in Last Four

The Billikens are riding a six-game win streak — and a four-game win streak against the spread. That includes their most recent outing Tuesday, which saw SLU out-rebound La Salle 43-13 and outscore the Explorers 46-22 in the paint.

The win helped Ford’s squad maintain second place in the A-10 standings. The Billikens are led by freshman Gibson Jimerson’s 17.2 points per game. A pair of other players — Yuri Collins (11.5 ppg) and Francis Okoro (at 10.2 ppg) are also averaging double-digits.

This team only has one loss you would call a “bad” one (a 91-85 defeat to UMass on the road Jan. 20) and has taken down top-100 KenPom units like Boise State, Richmond and Iona this year. Ford has his guys playing efficiently on both sides, rating 47th in offensive adjusted efficiency and 59th in defensive adjusted efficiency. The Billikens are also 14th in offensive rebounding percentage.

St. Bonaventure vs Saint Louis Prediction

The Bonnies are 2-3 on the road, while the Billikens are 11-3 at home.

While St. Bonaventure has dominated the recent head-to-head history, Saint Louis has won three of the last four and seems to be the proper play in this spot.

Pick: Saint Louis -5.5 (-110)
