Badgers vs Buckeyes NCAAF Week 5 Odds

The Wisconsin Badgers firmly believe they can beat the undefeated Ohio State Buckeyes this Saturday, when they meet at Ohio Stadium at 8 PM ET.

Ohio State beat Florida A&M with a stunning 76-0 result, and I say stunning not because the Buckeyes don’t have enough talent, but because obviously the number is so elevated.

“You come to Ohio State to compete for the Big Ten championship,” Urban Meyer said. “That starts (on Sunday). Actually, it started in a meeting just a minute ago. We have so much respect for the upcoming opponent, and we have got to get the Buckeyes ready to go.”

Wisconsin is 3-1 this season, and a win at Ohio State, against a Big Ten rival, will put them right where they want to be.

“It’s not really who you’re playing against. It’s evaluating yourself against your best self,” quarterback Kenny Guiton said. “You go out and play your best game. Are your fundamentals right? Did you have the right read?”

The Badgers are the third best rushing team in the country (349.8 yards a game), and the Buckeyes are the 6th best (311 yards).  Both can move the ball.

This game actually will serve to see the first year head coach Gary Andersen against his old boss, Meyer.

“We’re excited about going in there. It’s going to be a great stadium,” said Andersen, a former assistant to Meyer at Utah. “The fact that we have gone on the road once and traveled is big for us. I know it’s a tough place to play, but our kids, they’ll be prepared.”

Wisconsin is 1-5 ATS in its last 6 games when playing Ohio State. The NCAAF odds have the Buckeyes as 7 point favorites for Saturday.
