The #11 ranked Florida Gators will host the top ranked Alabama Crimson Tide Saturday afternoon. Kickoff from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida is scheduled for 3:30pm ET on CBS.
Florida’s backup quarterback, Anthony Richardson, is being listed as questionable with a hamstring injury although he was able to practice all week. He and Emory Jones will split snaps again in this one. Not many are buying the Gators’ revolving door at quarterback as the line opened at Alabama -13.5 only to be bet up to 14.5 at the time of publishing.
Player props are becoming a more popular way to bet football and now we are seeing them regularly in the college football ranks. DraftKings has given us a few to choose from on either side for Saturday’s biggest game.

Jacob Copeland is Special
The University of Florida has playmakers all over the field. After all, they are an SEC school recruiting in the state of Florida, of course they are getting guys that can play. Besides quarterback Anthony Richardson, one guy who sticks out like a sore thumb is receiver Jacob Copeland.

In their first game of the season against Florida Atlantic, Copeland was kept quiet only hauling in one pass for 15 yards on three targets. Their second game was a completely different story. Copeland caught a 75-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and ended up with 175 yards on just five catches.
The Alabama Crimson Tide are going to score and score and score some more. That’s what they do to everyone they play. Once that happens, the Gators will be in a position to sell out and throw on almost every down. We haven’t seen that happen yet this season so it’s tough to know who is going to get the targets but my guess is Copeland will get his fair share.
The Pick: Jacob Copeland Over 61.5 receiving yards (-115)
Jameson Williams is No Slouch
It could be raining Saturday afternoon but I really don’t think it will slow the receivers down much. The forecast calls for a 50% chance during game time so we could easily dodge a bullet. Even if we don’t, one guy that might be able to out run rain is Jameson Williams.

John Metchie gets all the love from the media but there is plenty of work to go around for Alabama’s receivers. So far this season Williams has been targeted 12 times which is right there with Metchie’s 13. The difference is, we would have to go over 91.5 receiving yards if we were to opt for Metchie. My guess is Williams is just as busy Saturday and under the right circumstances, he could cash this on one play.
