“The Game”.

#1 Ohio State takes its undefeated record to #13 Michigan this Saturday (Nov. 30,. 12:00 PM ET) and, so far, the public money has moved the line slightly in favor of the Buckeyes.

Ohio State vs Michigan Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
#1 Ohio State -10.0 (-105) -340 O 49.5 (-110)
#13 Michigan +10.0 (-115) +270 U 49.5 (-110)

Odds taken Nov. 27th.

When the Ohio State vs Michigan odds opened, the Wolverines were getting 9.5 points, and that is now up to 10. The total opened at 50 and is down to 49.5. Here’s analysis for where and when you should be getting your money in if you’re betting on this high-stakes rivalry game.

Buckeyes Likely To Complete Regular Season Undefeated

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is 0-for-Ohio State in his career as coach in Ann Arbor. He’s winless in four tries and enters this game as a double-digit underdog despite the game being played on his home campus.

The Wolverines have looked impressive with wins in four straight games against Indiana, Michigan State, Maryland and Notre Dame, but their two losses need to be considered here. They lost to Wisconsin and Penn State by a combined 28 points, the Buckeyes beat those two teams by a combined 42 points.

Ohio State is being led on defense by potential 1st-overall pick Chase Young. He leads college football with 16.5 sacks and has dominated in the Buckeyes biggest games. Against Wisconsin and Penn State, he totaled 7 combined sacks and 4 forced fumbles.

That doesn’t bode well for Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson.

Consider Betting the Over

While Young does a great job helping the Ohio State defense get off the field, Michigan will score some points in this game. They have averaged 41.5 points over the last four games and will find a way to put up some numbers in front of the home crowd.

Keeping that in mind, the over is the play here. Nothing (except the odd turnover) has been able to stop the Ohio State offense this season and, if Michigan can reach even double digits, hitting 50 is very doable.

Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields has accounted for 43 touchdowns and running back J.K. Dobbins ranks fourth in college football with 1,446 yards rushing. Ohio State is ranked first in scoring, averaging over 49 points per game and, while the Michigan’s defense is respectable, it won’t do enough to keep this game from going over.

Bet Ohio State Now or Michigan Later

If you like the Wolverines, we disagree and that’s okay. My advice of UM backers is to wait and bet them later, because the line will continue to move in favor of the number-one ranked team in the country.

My picks are Ohio State to win by double digits and to do so on the strength of their offense, which will help the over 50 be the winning play.

One final thought to consider: a correlated parlay is a great option if you’re as confident as I am.

PICKS: Ohio State -10 (-105) and Over 50 (-110)
