  • One lucky Bills couple will get married during halftime of this week’s game
  • What happens if the bride gets cold feet or the groom fumbles the ring?
  • Will the Bills Mafia ruin the ceremony versus the Patriots?

The Buffalo Bills have the city rocking as they host the New England Patriots this week in a battle of division rivals who both happen to be 3-0 this week, and some fans will be celebrating by having their wedding in front of Bills Mafia.

Sportsbooks have released some fun props about whether the wedding will go on without issue or not at New Era Field on Sunday.

Odds Fan Crashes The Halftime Wedding

Outcome Odds
Fans crash the wedding +1000
No fans crash the wedding -2500

What is The Bills Halftime Wedding?

The “Halftime Wedding Experience of a Lifetime” gives the couple a chance to say “I Do” in front of 70,000 people at the 50-yard-line of New Era Field versus the Pats. The couple also gets to invite 20 people to the Week Four game and wedding. Post reception custom jerseys are included as well.

Submissions opened on the official website in June, and entries were completed by filled out a simple questionnaire about their Bills fandom.  Some fans also campaigned on social media.

Will a Fan Ruin The Ceremony?

Speaking of fans, the odds a fan crashes the wedding scene is +1000.

Solid odds considering the Bills Mafia is infamously absurd. Beyond fireworks celebrations, they’re liable to slam each other and themselves through tables. A streaker or someone drunk enough running on the field during the ceremony does not seem very crazy in comparison.

Those odds probably increase if either the bride or groom have exes in their feelings attending the Bills game. Imagine a bystander crashing the Bills halftime wedding experience to object?

That said, security should be on high alert which makes -2500 odds no fan crashes the wedding logical. Still, probably worth betting someone crashes the ceremony.

Odds The Bride Says “No” to Marriage Vows?

Outcome Odds
Bride Says No +5000

*Odds taken 09/26/19

Backing out of a wedding is hard enough in front of your friends and family but doing it in front of 70,000 people is next level.  Especially true if the wedding is the only reason Bills fans are cheering in a loss to the Patriots.

Anything could change if the undefeated Bills suddenly find themselves on the wrong end of a blowout including the bride backing out. Nonetheless, it is probably not the best bet you could make, even with the potentially high returns.

Odds The Groom Drops The Ring

Outcome Odds
Groom Drops The Ring +1500
Groom Does Not Drop The Ring -3000

*Odds taken 09/26/19

As for the groom, you can also wager whether the man drops the ring or not. The weather forecast predicts a high of 70 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 56 degrees fahrenheit in Buffalo, according to the Weather Channel. That means the couple can expect a cool and partly cloudy forecast with only a ten percent chance of rain for their big day.

The no on him dropping the ring is -3000 odds which probably isn’t worth a play.  Then again, it is hard to tell without knowing the groom’s hand size, endurance and athletic profile.

Either way, the only thing that will make this lucky couple’s day better than this Bills Halftime Wedding experience is a win over their AFC East rivals to keep their undefeated record.
