Prop #1: Henry Hitting His Stride

The longer the NFL season gets, the better Derrick Henry runs the football. Last season, he gained 959 of his NFL-leading 1,540 yards over the final eight games of the season. He averaged 6.3 yards per carry over that span.

Henry comes into this game off a 178-yard performance against the Indianapolis Colts.

A week ago, the Cleveland defense was cut up for a career-high 128 yards by rookie Jacksonville running back James Robinson for 128 yards. Robinson averaged 5.3 yards per carry. One week earlier, Philadelphia’s Miles Sanders rambled for 96 yards against Cleveland.

Pick: Derrick Henry over 99.5 yards rushing (-112), 1 unit.

Firkser Stepping Up For Smith

Tennessee’s ace tight end Jonnu Smith is out with a knee injury. He’s accounted for eight touchdowns and 30.7 yards per game in receptions.

Someone must pick up that slack, and that someone is Anthony Firkser. He’s averaged 25.6 yards per game as Smith’s understudy.

Firkser won’t need to do much more to clear the 27.5-yard barrier set as his receiving yardage total for this game.

Pick: Anthony Firkser over 27.5 yards receiving (-112), 1 unit.

Who Are the Best Bets To Score a Touchdown?

Titans wideout AJ Brown has found the end zone in seven of his last eight games. As well, Brown went for 100 yards in receptions in last year’s season-opening win against Cleveland.

Kareem Hunt’s numbers area steadily dropping since Nick Chubb returned from injury for Cleveland. Hunt saw action on just 42% of offensive snaps last week against Jacksonville.

However, he’s been given a team-high 43 red-zone touches this season and has turned eight of them into TDs. Hunt has run for four scores and caught four TD passes.

  • Cleveland Browns Kareem Hunt anyime TD (+135), 1 unit
