This promotion is subject to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully.

  • The offer is only available to new customers making a first-time deposit.
  • Customers must be resident in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee, Virginia.
  • Customers must be at least 21 years of age.
  • The bonus funds are paid out as bet credits. Bet credits are not equivalent to cash; winning wagers made with bet credits return the profit only, not the original stake.
  • Customers must opt-in to the offer to qualify (using the promo code “SBDIMERF”.
  • The promotion applies to each customer’s first real-money wager made at Caesars Sportsbook. If that wager is graded as a loss, Caesars will credit the customer’s account with a free bet of the same value (up to $5,000).
    • Note that free bets are not equivalent to cash. A winning wager made with a free bet returns only the profit, not the stake. If a $5,000 free bet is placed on the Bills’ -1600 moneyline versus the Texans this Sunday, it would return only $312.50 if Buffalo wins.
    • The free bet is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

Best Ways to Use This Promo

If you want to guarantee yourself either a win or the free bet, then do not place your first real-money wager on anything that could push (i.e. result in a tie). For instance, if you bet on the Saints -7 against the Giants this week and the score ends 28-21 in favor of New Orleans, your wager would be a push. Your stake would be returned, but you would not get the free bet because the wager was not graded as a loss. You would not get a do-over with the promotion, either.

With that in mind, don’t bet any point spread or game total that is on a whole number.

NFL games can theoretically end in a tie, though it’s extremely rare these days (0.37% of games since the OT rules were changed in 2017). Personally, I wouldn’t hesitate to use my risk-free bet on a moneyline that I liked because of the possibility of a tie, but remember that it is possible.

SBD’s NFL odds page lists all the games for this week along with a plethora of invaluable betting data. If you are looking to see whom the public are betting on this week, see SBD’s Week 4 betting trends page.
