Well, all that work and we’re back where we started. That’s because the Tennessee Titans got run over by the Colts, killing all but one of our bets and essentially cleaning us out in the process.

But we’re looking to bounce back with a legitimate must-see matchup on Thursday Night, as the surging Arizona Cardinals are in Seattle to battle the slumping Seahawks.

It’s going to be a windy 50-degree fall evening in the Pacific Northwest, with rain in the forecast. That shouldn’t stop the fireworks though.

Visit our Cardinals vs Seahawks page for all your game betting needs. For now, let’s make some hay with the prop bets below.

Russ Gets Back To Cookin’

After two months of stellar football play, Russell Wilson has returned from another stratosphere, back down to earth, faceing the same issues every other football team does in a season.

His MVP-caliber play can’t outscore all the problems the ‘Hawks defense has, or cover up the lack of balance on offense with injuries crippling the run game.

Throw in the fact he’s also had to square up to a pair of very good defenses the last two weeks while suffering a sag in performance and it adds up to a TD-less performance against the Rams — his first of the year getting shut out. He also tossed a pair of interceptions, giving him seven in his last four games — three of which ended in an L.

That dip has allowed the Cardinals to rise into a tie for first, with a chance to sit alone atop the NFC West, while sweeping the season series.

I think Wilson rises to the occasion in this one. He threw for 388 yards and three touchdowns, while adding an additional 84 rushing in an OT loss to these same Cardinals in October, which started the tumble.

He’s thrown three or more touchdowns in each of the Seahawks’ last four games as home favorites, and with a whole lot on the line, I expect him to do so again.

The pick: Over 2.5 TD passes (1.5 units to win 1.65 units)

What’s In The Cards For Skill Players?

Couple of numbers that are too good to pass up. Larry Fitzgerald must be enjoying the winning ride, but it has to be strange for him to play a lesser role, while DeAndre Hopkins does much of the heavy lifting.

Fitz has slid nicely into the slot as a super-sized safety valve for Kyler Murray. He’s crafty enough to work inside the hash marks, and is still productive, getting targeted at least four times in all but two games.

His explosiveness, and big play ability, however, is pretty much gone, as evidenced by the fact he’s failed to surpass his longest reception total in this game in any game this season – his high going for 17 in a loss to Miami.

I also like the numbers bookmakers have given change-of-pace back Chase Edmonds. He’s crushed his over total in three straight games and in four of his last five contests. And the last time he played the ‘Hawks, he had 57 yards rushing and 87 yards receiving.

Seattle is one of only six teams to give up under 100 yards a game rushing, but Edmonds should be able to hit that total easy. Don’t be afraid to hit the total rushing and receiving either. For value, we’re going with that one.

The picks:

  • Larry Fitzgerald: UNDER 17.5 yards longest reception (0.5 units to win 0.49 units)
  • Chase Edmonds OVER 47.5 rushing and receiving yards (1 unit to win 1.1 units)

Who Finds Paydirt?

Nothing fancy here: Carindals’ pivot Kyler Murray has scored a TD in eight of the last nine Arizona contests. He had two running scores last week against the Bills, the second time he’s done that in a game this season.

He already has 10 rushing TD’s on the year, making him easily one of the best QB red zone threats.

And while Tyler Lockett stole the scoring shine the last time these teams met, going for 200 yards and three touchdowns, the game is forever going to be remembered for DK Metcalf hitting the nitrous button to chase down Budda Baker’s sure INT for TD.

He’s also scored at least one TD in each of the last five Seahawks’ home games. Here’s wagering that he extends that streak.

The picks:

  • Kyler Murray to score anytime TD (0.5 units to win 0.65 units)
  • DK Metcalf to score anytime TD (0.5 units to win 0.68 units)
