Ravens Big Favorites Again
The Baltimore Ravens are the biggest favorites in Week 5, a 13.5-point choice over the visiting Cincinnati Bengals in an AFC North matchup.
The Ravens (3-1) were 14-point road favorites Sunday and pushed in their 31-17 victory over the neighboring Washington Football Team. Lamar Jackson had a 50-yard touchdown run and threw for two scores as Baltimore bounced back from taking its first loss of the season, 34-20 to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night.

The Bengals (1-2-1) are big underdogs coming off their first win of the season. Joe Mixon rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns and caught a scoring pass as the Bengals downed the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars as one-point favorites 33-25, rolling up 505 total yards.
Baltimore is 2-1-1 against the spread and Cincinnati is 3-1.
Colts-Browns Should Be Close
The smallest spread is the one point the visiting Indianapolis Colts are favored by over the Cleveland Browns. Both teams are 3-1 after opening the season with losses.
The Colts, who lead the NFL in total defense, shut down the Bears’ Nick Foles in his first start of the season while posting a 19-11 road victory as a three-point favorite. Indianapolis limited Chicago to 269 total yards and the Bears did not score a touchdown until 1:35 remaining.

The Browns knocked off the Dallas Cowboys 49-38 on the road as 3.5-point underdogs. Baker Mayfield passed for two touchdowns, the Browns piled up 307 yards rushing and Myles Garrett had a strip sack for a third straight week.
The Colts are 3-1 against the spread while the Browns have split their four games ATS.
Shootout in Seattle?
The biggest total in Week 5 is the 58 points for the Minnesota Vikings’ visit to the Seattle Seahawks.
Both teams won 31-23 on Sunday with the Vikings downing the host Houston Texans for their first win and the Seahawks winning on the road against the Dolphins in Miami to raise their record to 4-0.

Seattle leads the NFL with an average of 35.5 points a game and is allowing 27.3 point on average. The Vikings are scoring 26.5 and allowing 31.5.
Bears’ Offense Hibernating
The total of 44.5 points for Thursday night’s visit by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Chicago to play the Bears is the lowest in Week 5.
The Bears have scored the fewest points in the NFL so far this week. Tom Brady threw for 369 yards and five touchdowns in Tampa Bay’s 38-31 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Chicago is averaging 21.3 points scored a game and 20.3 allowed. The Buccaneers’ averages are 30.0 and 23.0.
Jets Big Home Underdogs
Not surprisingly, the New York Jets are a 7.5-point underdog at home to the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals have lost two games in a row but the Jets have looked pretty horrible in their 0-4 start and it’s hard to see them getting backing at almost any price
The Patriots are six-point home choices over the Denver Broncos, even though Cam Newton will miss the game after contracting COVID-19. However, the Patriots are the superior team even with Brian Hoyer at quarterback. That line figures to rise.
