There are L’s, and then there’s the thrashing we took last week, where the 8-1 Vikings laid an egg, a big reason why we didn’t hit on any one of our five player prop picks. Ouch.

After getting so close to getting onto the plus side, we’re a little bit back in the abyss. Still, there’s plenty of opportunity to get back on schedule in Week 12, as we’ve got the Las Vegas Raiders (3-7, 1-5 away) in Seattle to take on the surprising Seahawks (6-4, 3-1 home).

Let’s run down the available player props for this one.

Odds as of November 26 at DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel

In the odds above, Geno Smith has the highest passing yards total of 258.5. The highest rushing total goes to Kenneth Walker III at 76.5 yards, and the highest receiving total is given to Vegas’ Davante Adams at 85.5 yards.

Prop #1: Davante Adams Receiving Yards

The Raiders’ wide receiver has been on fire the last three weeks, averaging 14.7 targets per game, 8.6 receptions and 137.7 yards.

Adams has also racked up 104+ receiving yards in nine of last 10 appearances with his team as an underdog.

He was extra lethal last week in a 22-16 OT win over the Broncos, with a walk-off TD to win it, part of a 7-catch, 141-yard line with two touchdowns. Adams did that primarily against young stud Patrick Surtain. Now he’s probably getting to see a lot of rookie Tariq Woolen.

Seattle has only allowed two players to cross this total in the last five games, and both were LA Chargers: Austin Ekeler and Mike Williams.

Adams is literally the only healthy, live option for Derek Carr, and teams still can’t stop him.

Pick:

  • Adams OVER 85.5 receiving yards (-114); 1.5 units to win 1.32 units

Prop #2: Smith TD Passes & Fant Longest Reception

It’s been a year for the Seahawks’ new starter this season, as Smith has thrown for 17 touchdowns against four interceptions in 10 starts. He has thrown for multiple TD passes eight times, the most in the NFL.

Two weeks ago against Tampa Bay, he threw a pair of TD’s for the fourth straight game.  Vegas hasn’t allowed a quarterback to cross this total the last three games — though Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan and Trevor Lawrence are hardly a murderer’s row of pivots this year.

Before this current run, five of the eight passers they faced crossed this total. I’m in for it again.

One of Smith’s targets has been a good bet to eat up a chunk play in the middle of the field. Noah Fant has passed his 13.5 yard longest reception total five times in the last six games. Last week against Tampa, he had three catches for 34 yards, including a 15-yarder.

Picks:

  • Smith OVER 1.5 TD passes (-135); 1.5 units to win 1.11 units
  • Fant Longest reception OVER 13.5 yards (-125); 1 unit to win 0.80 units

Raiders vs Seahawks Touchdown Scorer Odds

Kenneth Walker III has scored a major in five of Seattle’s last six games, while DK Metcalf has found paydirt in each of the Seahawks’ last four games as the betting favorite.

Adams has been a TD machine, tallying five total in the last three games. He’s also scored at least two TD’s in three of Las Vegas’ last four road games.

Picks:

  • Metcalf ANYTIME TD scorer (+105); 1 unit to win 1.05 units
  • Week 11 Record: 0-5; Overall Record: 16-22, -5.22 units
