Titans Of Monday Night
Including their previous life as the Houston Oilers, the Titans are solid, reliable performers on Monday Night Football. Tennessee owns an overall .581 winning percentage on MNF (25-18).
Denver’s MNF tale isn’t nearly as tidy. The current four-game losing streak the Broncos are enduring is part of an all-time .428 slate on Monday nights (33-43-1).

However, when it comes to head-to-head action, it’s advantage Denver. The Titans and Broncos met once previously on MNF. That was on Nov. 19, 2007, and also in Denver.
The Broncos won 34-20.
It’s Not Miller Time
On Tuesday, Broncos All-Pro linebacker and Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller was lost for the season after suffering a dislocation of his his peroneal tendon.
Later in the week, news came that wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who led Denver in receptions (74) and touchdown catches (six) last season is listed as a doubtful starter due to an ACL joint sprain.

Expect Denver quarterback Drew Lock to count more on his one-two punch of Philip Lindsey and Melvin Gordon in the backfield.
Tennessee was 12th in the NFL at stopping the run in 2019 (104.5 yards per game).
History With Broncos
Things to do in Denver if you’re the Titans – lose. Tennessee is 0-6 straight up in its last six visits to Denver. The Titans are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven road games against the Broncos.
That includes a 16-0 Broncos shutout victory in Week 6 of last season. Denver held NFL rushing leader Derrick Henry to 28 yards on 15 carries in that game.
Titans favored by 2.5? In Denver? At elevation? When nobody is in football shape to begin with and the Broncos have spent six weeks training in that environment?
Tennessee might be gassed halfway through the third quarter, even if they are the “better” team. This line is weird. https://t.co/7JDXFwKbcs

It was also the game that marked the turnaround in Tennessee’s season. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel benched QB Marcus Mariota in favor of Ryan Tannehill in that game.
With Tannehill under center, Tennessee went 9-4 both SU and ATS the rest of the way, reaching the AFC Championship Game.
Go Denver And Go Under
The last win in Denver by the Titans franchise came on Oct. 3, 1987, a 40-10 victory when they were still the Oilers. Brent Pease passed for a TD and ran for another. If you don’t recall him, there’s a good reason for that. This win was earned by replacement players during the 1987 NFL strike.
Denver is the best Week 1 club in NFL history, owning a .658 winning percentage (39-20-1) in season openers. The Broncos have won seven straight home openers. All-time, they are 28-6-1 (.814) when they open the season at home.
