Even with the possibility, if not the likelihood of rain at game time, this matchup is a favorable one for the Seahawks. In addition to another outstanding performance from Russell, the key to victory for Seattle will be containing the Vikings offense early on, particularly rusher Dalvin Cook, who has run for three first-half scores over the past two weeks. However, the Seahawks have been up to the challenge against the rush, ranking third with just 75.8 ground yards per game allowed so far this season.
While the potential exists for lots of scoring on Sunday night, that scenario would bide well for the Seahawks, who look poised to extend both their win streak against the Vikings and their perfect record on the season.
