The Pittsburgh Penguins look to close the series, while the New York Rangers want to stay alive as they meet this Sunday 7 PM ET at the Madison Square Garden, in game six of the Eastern Conferee Semifinals in the NHL playoffs.

Pittsburgh leads the series 3-2, but failed to close it in the first attempt by losing at home 1-5 on Friday.

“If our intentions are on continuing to play this year, we have to win. Pittsburgh, if they don’t win, they still have another opportunity. From our standpoint, we don’t have a choice. Our level of play, our level of execution, our level of compete and desperation has to be as high as it can be”, ,” Rangers coach Alain Vigneault said Saturday after the team returned to New York

The Rangers are yet to win at home against Pittsburgh in the playoffs; both games, 3 and 4, were losses that put them on this hole.

“Our first game at home, we played really well,” Rangers coach Vigneault added. “We limited Pittsburgh to 15 shots, we had 35 shots, we had a good amount of scoring chances. We just didn’t finish. The second game — obviously, we’d like to forget about that one.”

The NHL money line for game six have the Rangers listed -113 as the favorites to win, while the Penguins are +102, and the game total was set at five goals.

Pittsburgh is 7-2 SU in their last 9 games when playing on the road against NY Rangers.
