The Los Angeles Kings had one of the most memorable games 7 in NHL history on Friday, but they need to turn the page quick to face the defending champions, the Chicago Blackhawks, this Sunday at 3 PM ET at the United Center, in game one of the Western Conference finals.

The Kings annihilated the Anaheim Ducks on the decisive series game 6-2, and advanced with determination to the Western Conference finals; it was almost a perfect game for Los Angeles.

“I’m not sure about the energy part of it,” Kings coach Darryl Sutter said Saturday, “but I know how we handle losses and how we handle wins and how we handle travel, so you know they’re going to be honest in their preparation. You can trust that part of it.

“It’ll be certainly about putting forth their best effort, I know that.”

The Blackhawks have had one more day of rest after beating the Minnesota Wild in six games.

“I think the days off helps every team this time of year, get some rest, allows you to prepare for your opponent,” Blackhawks forward Patrick Sharp said. “At the end of the day, once that puck drops, I think both teams are going to be ready to play.”

Chicago is 9-2 against Los Angeles over the past two years, outscoring them 35-24.

The puck line has the Blackhawks as 1.5 point favorites for game one, and the game total is at 5 goals.  The money line has Chicago listed at -154 and the Los Angeles +140.
