There has been no such thing as the friendly confines of home ice for the Blackhawks in the new year. They have won just five of 17 games at the United Center in the 2022 calendar year. Overall, their 11 home wins are fourth fewest in the league this season.

Recently, they’ve lost a couple low scoring affairs, but have given up 37 goals in their last 10 games. Marc-Andre Fleury is expected to get the start, with all eyes on the potential return the Blackhawks might get at the deadline if they deal the three-time Stanley Cup champion and last year’s Vezina Trophy winner.
