This surely reflects the fact that the Italian giants have nothing to play for but pride after wrapping up the group early.
Leverkusen will go through if they beat Juventus and Atlético do not win at home to bottom-placed Moscow.

After winning Italy’s Serie A title for eight seasons in a row, they were unbeaten in second place behind Inter Milan after 14 fixtures, with 11 wins and three draws.

But the Italians may be held to a draw by a Leverkusen team determined to claim its narrow chance of reaching the knockout phase.
