Red Bull Leipzig vs Bayern Munich Prediction

Table-topping Bayern Munich meets second-placed Red Bull Leipzig in a crunch clash at the head of Germany’s Bundesliga on Saturday.

A win for Bayern would put them seven points clear at the top of the table.

But a Leipzig victory would cut Bayern’s lead to just one point – so this is the most pivotal moment of the title race so far this season.

However, the hugely significant thing is that Bayern will be without their goal-scoring superstar Robert Lewandowski who is out of action for four weeks with a knee ligament injury.

Polish striker Lewandowski has hit 35 league goals in this campaign.

This is a tight one for the oddsmakers at DraftKings who make Bayern +138 favorites for an away win at 12:30 pm ET on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Red Bull is priced at +180 with the draw at +265 – an attractive proposition given the absence of Lewandowski and both teams’ recent form.

Bayern has won their last four Bundesliga fixtures and has scored 16 goals in the process.

However, nine of those goals were supplied by Lewandowski making it plain just how much he will be missed.

Meanwhile, Leipzig has won seven and drawn one of their last eight league games so it is clear that those odds for the draw offer good value.

There was a 3-3 draw when these sides last clashed in Munich last December.

In fact, the last three meetings between these teams have been drawn. Above all, Red Bull will pitch the competition’s best defense – 21 goals conceded in 26 games – against the best attack in the competition with Bayern boasting 78 goals.

There was a 3-3 draw when these sides last clashed in Munich last December.

Before that, there was a goalless draw at Munich’s Allianz Arena in February last year preceded by a 1-1 draw in Leipzig in September 2019.

That is why another all-square outcome looks the best bet here.

Pick: Draw +265

Borussia Dortmund vs Eintracht Frankfurt Prediction

Eintracht Frankfurt has stuttered lately but, in fourth place, they are one ahead of Borussia Dortmund approaching the teams’ meeting on Saturday.

After ending a run of three games without a win with a 5-2 defeat of seventh-placed Union Berlin last time out, Frankfurt is an attractive outsider at Dortmund.

The DraftKings’ oddsmakers make Frankfurt +320 for a win with Dortmund favored at -127.

The draw is +290 which looks promising but it is worth backing Eintracht to claim a valuable win here – with kick-off at 9:30am ET.

Dortmund has won three, drawn once and lost once in their last five league games – with the most recent result a 2-2 level finish away at struggling FC Koln.

Before their recent three-game stutter, Frankfurt went on a run of five-straight league wins between January 23 and February 20.

Dortmund’s Erling Haaland has hit 21 Bundesliga goals with Frankfurt’s Andre Silva boasting the same tally.

Dortmund has won seven times at home with two draws and three defeats.

Frankfurt has the sixth-best away record in the league with five wins, five draws and only three defeats. And they have taken an impressive 30 points in total this calendar year.

Dortmund has won seven times at home with two draws and three defeats.

There was a 1-1 draw the last time these sides met in Frankfurt last September but, in conclusion, the form book so far this year suggests a win for the visitors in Dortmund this weekend.

Pick: Eintracht Frankfurt +320

Union Berlin vs Hertha Berlin Prediction

The capital city stages a derby on Sunday when seventh-placed Union Berlin hosts 14th-placed Hertha Berlin.

Significantly, Union has the sixth-best home record in the Bundesliga with five wins, seven draws, and only one defeat.

Meanwhile, Hertha is poor on the road with only two wins, four draws and seven defeats.

Still, DraftKings see it as a tight one with Union favored slightly at +155 with kick-off at 12 noon ET on Sunday.

Further, Hertha is at +188 with the draw most promising here at an inviting+220.

Union has drawn four of their last eight league games but were defeated 5-2 by Eintracht Frankfurt last time out.

Hertha is coming off an impressive 3-0 home win over Bayer Leverkusen but has lost seven of their last 10 league fixtures.

They were 3-1 winners in the last meeting with Union in December.

But the recent fluctuating form of both sides suggests a draw this time around.

Pick: Draw +220
