  • Arsenal take on Norwich City, looking for first win in last five PL fixtures
  • Chelsea hosts a struggling West Ham side at Stamford Bridge
  • Tottenham welcomes Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth to North London, seeking their third straight victory under new boss Jose Mourinho

We have ten games on the table this weekend for Matchday 14 of the Premier League, as Jose Mourinho will look for his second straight Premier League victory against Bournemouth on Saturday, after guiding Spurs to a mid-week European win over Olympiacos, coming back from a 2-0 deficit to win 4-2 on home soil.

Manchester City travels to St. James Park to face Newcastle, looking to trim their nine-point deficit between them and league leaders Liverpool. The Reds won’t have a tough task ahead of them though, taking on 12th place Brighton.

On Sunday, the high-flying Foxes of Leicester City welcome a struggling Everton side to King Power Stadium, with Toffees boss Marco Silva on the verge of being sacked if they don’t come away with a result. The Gunners will travel to Norwich City as well, with Unai Emery now sacked and the team looking to turn around some recent poor performances.

EPL Pick 1: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Sheffield United

Although Wolverhampton enters this fixture as slight favorites over Sheffield at -110, there is a very high chance the latter could come out on top in this clash. Both sides sit fifth and sixth in the Premier League table respectively with Sheffield just one decisive point behind Wolves.

The newly-promoted side has really impressed their Premier League peers this year, surprisingly sitting in the sixth spot after drawing Manchester United last weekend, 3-3. Lys Mousset has looked electric in the final third for Chris Wilder’s side, bagging four times in ten matches. Before the international break, Sheffield also tied Tottenham.

Wolves have been playing great football as well, going unbeaten in their last five matches. In their last two fixtures, they won 2-1 against both Bournemouth and Aston Villa. They’re also one of only three sides to hand Manchester City a defeat this year, when they upset the title-holders 2-0 on October 6th at the Etihad.

This match should be an absolute dogfight considering both of these teams are in great form and quite even in many different areas on the pitch. But given Sheffield’s last two results against big clubs, they could definitely come out victorious in this fixture.

Pick: Sheffield 2-1 (+1200)

EPL Pick 2: Tottenham vs Bournemouth

There seems to be a different feel around Tottenham since they sacked long-time manager Mauricio Pochettino, bringing in Jose Mourinho as his replacement. So far, the move looks to be working, with Spurs looking for their third straight victory this weekend as they host Bournemouth.

It was a shaky debut for Mourinho last week against West Ham, almost blowing a 3-0 lead to eventually win 3-2. Their back-line still looks slightly unsettled at times, but there is no questioning that their attack is lethal in the final third with the likes of Harry Kane and Heung min-Son at the helm.

Bournemouth has been immensely struggling, winning just once in their last five matches. Tottenham shouldn’t have any problem creating havoc on the attack against the Cherries and with the home crowd behind them, a victory should be almost a certain for Mourinho’s side.

Pick: Tottenham (-265)

Pick 3: Norwich City vs Arsenal

Caretaker manager Freddie Ljungberg will guide the Gunners this weekend after Unai Emery was given the sack. They lost to Frankfurt on Thursday in Europa League and tied a relatively weak Southampton side last weekend, 2-2. But the Gunners can only stay in the gutter for so long. They haven’t won a Premier League fixture in five matchdays and Norwich City haven’t necessarily been playing very well either, sitting in the relegation zone. This could be the time for Arsenal to break out of their shell.

Arsenal have too many quality players to give up on. Especially youngsters like Bukayo Saka, Joe Willock, and Gabriel Martinelli. I do believe they will go to Carrow Road and get a victory this weekend as they look to change the fortunes of their season around.

Pick: Arsenal 3-1
