After the return of the Champions League midweek, this weekend we return to the Premier League for the 27th round of matches. The season is really starting to heat up, as Liverpool are only a few matches away from bringing their first-ever Premier League trophy to Anfield. On top of that, Manchester City has been banned from UEFA competition for the next two years, opening up fifth place for another Champions League spot next year.
This puts the likes of Tottenham, Sheffield United, Manchester United, Wolves and Everton all in the hunt for European play, and makes this week of games even more imperative for these sides. Towards the bottom of the table, Brighton, Bournemouth and Aston Villa are all fighting to stay out of the relegation zone.

EPL Pick 1: Sheffield United vs Brighton
Before the campaign, this would have been marked as a mid-low table game in the Premier League. Now, with Sheffield’s unprecedented run and position, they are in the race to play in the Champions League, which should give them some extra motivation.
Sheffield United's next opponents might still be searching for their first win since the turn of the year. But Brighton and Hove Albion will not arrive at Bramall Lane this weekend short of confidence. #sufc #twitterblades https://t.co/EAmNr42XlJ

Chris Wilder’s team has won four out of their last six, with a draw against Arsenal and loss against Manchester City. Not bad for a newly-promoted side. Their defense has been sublime, and to be fair, Brighton could not buy a win at the moment, as their last was at the end of December against Bournemouth. This should be a fairly easy win for John Fleck and Co, and at (-111), the moneyline is still very valuable.
Pick: Sheffield ML (-111)
EPL Pick 2: Leicester City vs Manchester City
Furthermore, in a matchup of heavyweights, Leicester City hosts defending champions Man City in what could be the fixture of the weekend in the Premier League. City really have nothing to play for as they are banned from European play, so it will be interesting to see the team Pep puts out with the Champions League still in play this year.
With that being said, both teams have hit rough patches in form with City losing their last two matches, and Brendan Rodger’s side only winning two from six. While the wins have not been consistent, the goals have. Manchester and Leicester average 2.6 and 2.1 goals respectively and their last match in December proved this with a four-goal contest. Getting over three goals total will not be a problem for these two dynamic and attacking sides.
Pick: Total Ov 3 (-118)
EPL Pick 3: Arsenal vs Everton
Lastly, Arsenal and Everton have caught a lot of attention as they are only a handful of points away from a spot in the Champions League or Europa League. Both teams have been sub-par this season, but Carlo Ancelloti has seemed to strike a nerve with his Merseyside team and is currently bringing the best out of them.
Less than four months after suffering a fracture dislocation of his right ankle, Andre Gomes is "ready to play" according to Carlo Ancelotti…

The Toffees have won their last two games against Crystal Palace and Watford, scoring three in each. Calvert-Lewin and Richarlson look to finally be hitting their potential, Andre Gomes could be coming back and Arsenal are still proving they can be questionable at the back. Despite being the heavy underdogs, expect Everton to leave the Emirates with three points.
Pick: Everton ML (+245)
