West Ham vs Brentford EPL Pick

It’s been a tough campaign for West Ham who currently sit in 16th place, just a point clear of the drop zone. Their current form is also very poor and they come into this off the back of four straight EPL defeats, the latest coming at the weekend when they were beaten 3-1 by Arsenal.

For Brentford, it’s been a much more pleasing campaign, with their 4-8-4 record taking them up to 10th place. At the weekend, Thomas Frank’s men led Tottenham 2-0 before eventually drawing 2-2. In stark contrast to the Hammers, the Bees are unbeaten in four.

While Brentford will come into this full of confidence, there is enough quality in this West Ham squad for it to steer clear of the relegation dogfight. With the home win at -105, the value is right there.

Newcastle vs Leeds EPL Pick

The Saudi-led revolution on Tyneside is well and truly underway with Newcastle’s big-spending starting to pay dividends. The Toon are third in the table, have lost just once all season, and have won their last six EPL games. Manager Eddie Howe is playing down the prospect of a title challenge, but not so the Toon Army.

Leeds, meanwhile, have failed to build on last season’s last-day heroics and still find themselves hovering around the EPL’s drop zone. With just four wins all season and seven defeats in their last ten games, Jesse Marsch’s men look set for another relegation battle and one away win so far makes this trip to St James’ look very tricky indeed.

The Toon appears unstoppable right now, so even at -225, there looks to be value in the home win. Easy money.

Premier League Pick: Newcastle to win (-225).

Brighton vs Arsenal Prediction

Graham Potter’s decision to leave Brighton for Chelsea made for a difficult couple of months for the Seagulls, but with the Roberto De Zerbi era now well underway, the good results have started to flow again. Three wins in the last four have maintained their challenge for a top-six place, and they currently lie seventh.

For Arsenal, this has so far been the season of dreams. Mikel Arteta’s young team has lost just once, drawn just once, and won every other game while playing irresistible soccer. While everyone waits for their title charge to falter, it shows no sign of doing so.

With the Gunners in plus money, there is value in betting on the away win but given that Arsenal are due a slip-up and Brighton are a good team, especially at home, the draw at +245 look equally tempting.
