Matchday 3 of the World Cup European qualifiers begin on Tuesday, March 30th, with a total of 20 sides in action across the continent.

For the most part, though, there are lopsided matchups, with Portugal facing Luxembourg after a disappointing 2-2 draw with Serbia, while the high-flying Belgians clash with Belarus.

Two games that should offer some betting value, however, will be Wales playing host to the Czech Republic and Slovenia taking on Russia.

See the odds below from Tuesday’s matches from DraftKings.

Wales vs Czech Republic Prediction

Wales welcomes the Czechs to Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday for a vital fixture. The Welsh’s quest for World Cup qualifying didn’t get off to the best start last week, coming up against a top-notch Belgium side.

Despite scoring the opener via Harry Wilson’s goal in the 10th minute, Ryan Giggs’ men couldn’t slow down the Red Devils, who responded with three goals in the next 60 minutes to secure the full points. Wales then beat Mexico 1-0 on Saturday in a friendly, although it was another underwhelming performance where their oppositions completely dominated the pace of play.

Czech Republic has a lot to be pleased about through their first two qualifiers, throttling Estonia 6-2 on Matchday 1 thanks to Tomas Soucek’s hat-trick then playing to a draw with Belgium over the weekend. This outing against Roberto Martinez’s side was very promising as they kept up with the Belgians for most of this match, even scoring the first goal and registering more shots on target.

This should be a very entertaining fixture. These two outfits have only met three times ever, with the latest clash coming back in 2007 which resulted in a scoreless draw. There isn’t much to go off in that fashion, but the Czechs are heading into Tuesday’s match with boatloads of confidence after holding their own against one of the best teams in the world.

The visitors are a worthy bet here to collect the three points.

Pick: Czech Republic +150

Montenegro vs Norway Prediction

On paper, this match doesn’t seem like it would be much of a battle. But, Montenegro has been a pleasant surprise through their first two qualifying games, where they currently sit tied for top spot in Group G alongside Turkey.

The Montenegrins took care of business against both Latvia and Gibraltar, with Monaco striker Steven Jovetic bagging half of their goals already. Against the Latvians, Miodrag Radulovic’s men came back from a 1-0 deficit to win by a goal, thanks to Jovetic’s winner in the 81st minute. There are some tough fixtures ahead for the Montenegrins, but this is a positive start.

Erling Haaland and Norway on the other hand, haven’t enjoyed much success quite yet as they look to qualify for their first World Cup since 1998. Despite a 3-0 victory over Gibraltar on Matchday 1, the Norwegians ran into a Turkey side who dismantled them by that exact same scoreline. The end product was simply not there for Stale Solbakken’s squad, registering just one shot on target despite enjoying more possession.

The Turks meanwhile had just three total shots which all found the back of the net, with Ozan Tufan netting a brace. Norway desperately needs a result here as they look to give Montenegro a reality check.

It’s important to note that Haaland hasn’t scored yet since joining his country on international duty for these first few World Cup qualifiers. That’s very unlike the Dortmund phenom and I think you’ll see him break out and run riot on the Montenegrins’ backline while propelling his side to a much-needed victory.

Pick: Norway -145, Erling Haaland to Score First Goal +180

Slovakia vs Russia Prediction

Slovakia will be searching for their first win in this group when they face in-form Russia on home soil. The Slovakians have disappointingly drawn twice thus far and things won’t get any easier on Tuesday.

They tied Malta 2-2 on Saturday and even had to make a comeback after conceding twice in the first half. Thankfully, Milan Skriniar saved Slovakia in the 53rd minute with an equalizer to help his team take away a point.

The Russians sit in first place in Group H after two impressive performances. Their most recent clash with the Slovenians resulted in a 2-1 victory thanks to Artem Dzyuba’s double. Atalanta star Josip Ilicic cut the lead in half for Slovenia, but it wasn’t enough.

Russia and Slovakia have quite the history against one another, each winning two games apiece in their last four meetings. The last time they locked horns was in the group stages of Euro 2016, where the Slovakians ran out as 2-1 winners.

The Russians are in fine form but I believe the hosts will be up for the task here and secure yet another draw in their final qualifier of the international break.

Pick: Draw +210
