Atletico Madrid and Barcelona will define the Spanish La Liga championship for the 2013-14 season as they meet this Saturday at 12 M PM ET at the Cam Nou stadium.

Atletico is the current leader of the league with 89 points after 37 match days; Barcelona is second with 86.  A draw or a win gives Atletico the title; Barcelona needs a win no matter what.

Atletico’s coach Diego Simeone confirmed his number one striker, Diego Costa, will play this Saturday despite speculations he couldn’t due to an injury.

“He is fine,” Simeone said. “He trained normally without any problems and he will play from the start.”

“I expect one where Barca starts strongly, I expect the best Barca we have seen in recent times. “They are playing at home and they have an extraordinary squad. But the game in itself is extremely motivating for the players. We are working well and we will look for the best options. We know what we are about and we know our strengths and weaknesses,” he added.

Barcelona has had their worst season in years, but they don’t care about that; they have a chance to win the title and that what matters. “We saw the situation as black and that we had lost the league, but football has given us another chance,” Xavi told a news conference.

There’s a rematch factor as Atletico eliminated Barcelona from the Champions League this season.

The soccer money line has Barcelona as the favorite listed at -120, while Atletico Madrid is at +325 and the draw is at +235.
