The 2-0 Chicago Bears visit Heinz Field to take on the must win Pittsburgh Steelers, this Sunday at 8:30 PM ET, in a game broadcasted by NBC.

The Steelers, currently 0-2, can’t be in a 0-3 hole and make it alive.  They know it.  That’s why they will face the Bears with the urgency of a must win situation.

“Right now, we’ve got to keep playing,” Steelers safety Ryan Clark said. “We can’t panic and abandon what we have learned. We do have to shore some things up. We do have to be a lot more sound. If we don’t, this is going to keep happening.”

Pittsburgh has scored only 19 points in two games; they ranked 27th in passing yards, and 31st in running yards.  They can’t move the football.

“There’s been a problem with our functioning,” coach Mike Tomlin said. “There’s been a problem with our production. There’s been a problem with our points. You can point to whatever you want to point to in regards to that, and obviously if the plays aren’t working well then we’re susceptible to that judgment.

The Bears, on the other hand, are 2-0 after winning their two games at home against the Bengals and the Vikings, but they haven’t looked spectacular at all.   The last time they started 3-0 they made it all the way to the 2010 NFC Championship game.

“We’ve seen a unique team resiliency, an ability to keep our poise, an ability to just move onto the next play without what happened on the last play inhibiting us,” first-year coach Marc Trestman said.

The Steelers are 3 point home dogs in the NFL Odds; this is just the 5th time this has happen since Mike Tomlin is the coach in Pittsburgh.
