Manchester City had the win on their hands in their visit to Madrid, now they must to debut at home with a win over Borussia Dortmund, this Wednesday at 14:45 PM ET at Etihad Stadium.

City beat Fulham 2-1 during the weekend as they were one early goal behind. Edin Dzeko has been great in the start of the season coming from the bench.

“Against Fulham here it is always difficult,” the City boss Roberto Mancini said “. They are a good team, have good players, a good manager. This pitch is always a tough for us, but the problem is we were 1-0 down, and I don’t know why because the penalty was not a penalty.

“We were 1-0 down, and Fulham didn’t shoot on goal for the first 20 minutes. That was a problem, but I am happy because the players continued to play well, kept calm and we had a lot of chances”.

Borussia is one of the most dynamic teams in Europe right now; they can exploit offensively with speed looking for their striker Robert Lewandowski or even control the pace of the match with a great midfield.  They will be hard to beat for City.

“The lads have done well, in what has been a beautiful evening of football,” Klopp said after his team beat Borussia Monchengladbach5-0 on Saturday. “There is nothing to complain about today.

“We more than made up for fumbling our two-goal lead (against Eintracht Frankfurt) tonight. We had a really good second half, against a top opponent. We scored some really great goals”.

Manchester City is listed -140, Dortmund +350, and Draw +160.
