An AFC East showdown hit the stage this Sunday at Sun Life Stadium when the NY Jets visit the Miami Dolphins at 1 PM ET, in what could be a really intriguing game.

The Jets beat an AFC East rivals, the Bills, in the first game of the 2012 season, but failed to deliver against Pittsburgh last week. Mark Sanchez went 10 for 27 for 138 with a touchdown against the Steelers.

“Right now, we think Mark gives us the best chance to be successful in that particular situation against that particular opponent,” coach Rex Ryan said. “Those are things that we’ll always look at. I believe Tim can pass. We’ll make the decision on when a guy is out there, not out there, or whatever”.

For Miami, the key is to unleash Reggie Bush as the ex-Saints running back had a career-high 26 times for 172 yards with two touchdowns against the Raiders last week.

“He’s doing a tremendous job,” Ryan said about Bush. “Obviously we’ve got to do a terrific job of getting a lot of guys to him and get him on the ground — put some hot sauce on him, if you will”.

“We want to be a team that gets better as the year goes along,” Miami’s coach Joe Philbin said. “We’ve made a couple of strides, but we’ve got a million miles to go”.

The Dolphins have won five of their last six games at home, but the series against the Jets is currently standing 2-2 in the last two seasons.
