WagerWeb sportsbook has a reliable history and a very generous rewards and bonus program, making it one of our go-to sites.
Pros and Cons
- Reliable site with quick payouts
- Generous rewards program
- The bonus has a big rollover
WagerWeb Sportsbook has been taking bets for over a decade – a long time in the world of online betting. It has never been the most popular Sportsbook out there, but with a reliable history and a very generous rewards and bonus program, it’s one of our go-tos.
The sign-up process is quick and their customer service is friendly and easy to get a hold of. Making a deposit, you will be presented with a wide variety of options from Visa and Mastercard to Moneygram and Instadebit. If you’re the type who still prefers not to give their credit card online or over the phone, they’ll even take a cashier’s check to get you started.
WagerWeb’s initial bonus is, as we mentioned, very generous. However it’s not without its caveats. Here is the structure, take note of the rollover requirements for each category…
|$25 – $1,000||50%||10x|
This means that in order to cash out with a $250 freeplay bonus you will have to risk 10 times the original amount – in this case its $2,500. (See our bonuses explained page for more on how this works) Having said all that, being able to get $500 freeplay for depositing $1000 is nothing to sneeze at – a lot of books require a much bigger deposit to get that or have smaller maximums.
Betting itself is easy to do online and the site is among the more modern. They even have an app for Android and iPhone, which allows you to bet from your couch, or even at the game. The odds mainly cover major sports and events popular here in the US, however they do offer some interesting sports and entertainment prop bets. The WagerWeb racebook is fully featured and offers its own set of props as well as cashback on losses, however it also only covers tracks in the US and Canada.
Aside from a fairly standard casino and poker room, the most noteworthy extra feature at WagerWeb is their loyalty program. For every bet you make on their site you earn rewards. These can add up quickly into small rewards like books and gift cards, or save up and get an Xbox or an iPad. As far as selection goes with sportsbook reward programs, WagerWeb’s is one of the best.
As for payouts, Wagerweb is usually quick, promising same day payouts. They allow you to make one “free” withdrawal per month. This might sound limiting, however, I find it’s really good for money management. I like to do my withdrawal at the same time every month as long as I’m ahead. This way I feel like I’m less likely to blow my money and, instead, I’ll plan my bets around my personal payday. You noticed, however, that I put “free” in quotations. This is because they charge a small fee on each withdrawal, but give it back to you in the form of freeplay. I guess this is one way to keep you with them, but it’s not the most honest policy.
Overall, though, Wagerweb is a trustworthy sportsbook with a decent number of options, a reasonable bonus, and quick payouts.
