Atletico Madrid was the surprise winner last season, but it’s almost certain that won’t happen again in the 2014-15 season as Real Madrid and Barcelona appear as the only two candidates to win the tournament that starts in August, once again.

Real Madrid is the favorite now that they lift the UEFA Champions League title last season, and recently signed Tony Kross, one of Germany’s best players, and could add James Rodriguez and goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

“It made me very happy, I was very proud. I’m absolutely convinced that it’s the right choice and today just reaffirmed my decision. Everyone has been very friendly towards me; I’ve liked everything so far. Meeting the fans was very special and reaffirmed to me that I’ve made the right decision,” Kross said about signing his contract.

“In my opinion, Real Madrid are the biggest club there is. That’s why I was sure I wanted to join them. They were my first and only choice and everything went according to plan,” he added.

Barcelona added Luis Suarez to their attack, and along Lionel Messi and Neymar they could have one of the best attacks in the planet, but first they need to figure out what their new coach Luis Enrique actually wants from them on the field.
