This endeavor was finalized earlier this year, and although PENN has moved away from the Barstool Sportsbook label, they’re also leaning on this distinctive technology for the ESPN BET app.

Despite the excitement surrounding the proprietary technology stack update for PENN’s previous sports betting app, it’s safe to say the new platform didn’t live up to expectations previously.

One of the best features of Barstool Sportsbook was their use of unique personalities to drive promos, odds boosts, and much more. The ESPN brand brings a new set of personalities to PENN Entertainment’s new platform, with figures like Pat McAfee, Erin Dolan, and Stephen A. Smith expected to contribute to the multitude of features on ESPN BET.

The answer to the question, “Is ESPN BET good?” is best answered on a personal level. But if you’re looking for my expert opinion, the answer is yes, at least in terms of what most online sports bettors are looking for.
