NBA Rookie of the Year Odds 2026 – Is Cooper Flagg the Betting Favorite?

The 2025 NBA Draft is in the books and sportsbooks have now posted odds for the 2025-26 NBA Rookie of the Year odds. It’s not terribly surprising that Duke product and #1 overall pick Cooper Flagg is the favorite. But it may be a shock to some just how short he is.
The table below lists the NBA Rookie of the Year odds for every player currently on the board.
2026 NBA Rookie of the Year Odds

How Often Does the #1 Pick Win NBA Rookie of the Year?
As the #1 overall pick, Flagg is in fairly good company when it comes to past NBA ROY winners. In the __ year history of the award, 24 first-overall picks have won NBA ROY, which is eight more than second-overall picks, which have won the second-most (16).
First-overall picks have won two of the last three – Paolo Banchero in 2023 and Victor Wembenyama in 2024 – and four in the last decade.
