The Green Bay Packers seek for revenge against the Seahawks after what happened in 2012. It doesn’t matter if it is a preseason game; a win is a win for Green Bay at this point. The game is this Friday at 8 PM ET in the third week of the preseason at Lambeau Field.
Aaron Rodgers didn’t play for the last few days as he was ill, but he’s back and ready to play Seattle.
“I thought Aaron Rodgers looked fine. I thought practice in general … I thought we started off the way it needed to be; I need to get a look at the video, ’’ Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy said. “I wasn’t very happy with the way we practiced once we got to the ‘move the ball’ periods, so as far as individual performance, I’m a little jaded right now.’’
“Today was the final practice to get ready for the Seahawks, ’’ McCarthy said, referring to Green Bay’s preseason opponent Friday night. “We were in pads today for a reason. We didn’t take full advantage of the opportunity to get ready to play.’’
Seattle is 2-0 in the preseason while Green Bay is 1-1. The Seahawks are feeling good, and the hype is on their side; they know it.
“It’s been pretty entertaining to read up on this stuff,” wide receiver Golden Tate ate said Tuesday about the controversial catch in 2012. “I’m not letting it bother me any. What they say on Twitter or in Wisconsin doesn’t affect me.”
The Seahawks are 2 point favorites for this one. The game total is set at 43.5.
