The LSU Tigers look to bounce back after losing to Alabama this week when they host Johnny Football and the Texas A&M Aggies, this Saturday 3:30 PM ET at Tiger Stadium.

“I want the defense to stop them,” Les Miles said about the offense Johnny Manziel leads. “Certainly we recognize the challenge that an offense like A&M will bring. … I like my defense. I suspect they’ll play best in this game. I think they’ll be a challenge to A&M and I think being in Tiger Stadium will be a challenge to A&M. It’s a much different environment and a place where the home team generally does pretty good.”

Manziel has recorded for 300-plus total yards in 19 straight starts. He’s a playmaker on every series, and perhaps the most dynamic college football player in the nation.

“It’s a great challenge,” Miles said. “It’ll be a great matchup. I think our defense is really looking forward to it. These Tigers look forward to a challenge, and this is really going to be one. I think our guys will play well. I think we have a nice scheme and a variety of ways to pressure, disguise coverage, get in the backfield.”

The NCAAF betting odds have the Tigers as 4.5 point favorites, plus the game total is at 71 points.

LSU is 2-5-1 against the spread in its last 8 games, and 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games at home. Also, the total has gone OVER in 5 of Texas A&M’s last 6 games.
