What Missouri Bettors Actually Get for Pre-Registering on Monday, Nov. 17

Pre-registration at Missouri sports betting apps is almost here, which means legal sports betting is that much closer in the Show-Me State.
But, if you can’t bet on November 17, what do you actually get out of registering ahead of the December 1 Missouri sports betting launch?
Quite a bit, actually.
Missouri Pre-Launch Bonuses for Nov. 17 Pre-Registration
Expect sports betting sites in Missouri to roll out their pre-launch offers throughout the day Monday, if they’re providing one.
This is the main benefit of registering early at an online sportsbook, as you can claim extra bonus bets by registering and making a deposit before the Dec. 1 launch.
Here’s a look at the Missouri sports betting apps that have received a license from the Missouri Gaming Commission. As pre-launch offers are announced, they’ll get filled in here:
How to Pre-Register at Missouri Sports Betting Apps
When the time comes, you will want to start by clicking one of the links above. If you’re on a mobile device, you’ll be taken directly to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the app.
If you’re on a computer, you’ll be sent to their site, unless you’re downloading Fanatics, then you’ll be sent to a QR code to scan and begin the download on your phone.
Once you’ve downloaded the app or visited the site, here’s what to do next:
- Select Missouri as your state, if asked.
- Create your account by using your name, birthdate, email address, phone number, street address and social security number.
- Confirm your identity and setup 2-factor authentication.
- Choose your banking method of choice (online banking, debit cards, PayPal, Venmo and Apple Pay should be among the options).
- Make your first deposit based on what the advertised bonus calls for.
What You Can Do After Pre-Registering a Missouri Online Sportsbook Account
After you sign up and make a deposit in the pre-registration period, there isn’t much action for you to take. Or that you can take.
You can’t bet, of course, until December 1. You likely won’t even see your bonus until then, either.
You will be able to explore the app, though. That allows you to see what markets it has to offer, how to quickly get to the types of bets you’re looking for, and what odds are being offered.
If you decide to download multiple apps — I highly recommend this — you’ll be able to compare those odds between sportsbooks.
All of that will better prepare you for launch day.
Should You Pre-Register at ESPN BET?
One of the major questions surrounding the Missouri launch is what will happen with ESPN BET. The Worldwide Leader and PENN Entertainment announced their partnership would be ending after two years, as of December 1.
That, of course, also happens to be launch day in Missouri.
PENN pretty quickly put out information that it would be switching over to theScore Bet in all ESPN BET legal states. As of Dec. 1, that would include Missouri.
The switch to theScore Bet includes converting user accounts from one brand to the other, meaning your account information and balance would all be automatically moved over. So, if you pre-register with ESPN BET in Missouri, you would be part of that migration, even if it does feel a little weird to register with a sportsbook you’ll never actually get to use.
