My college football player props card is quarterback heavy on Saturday, with all three plays featuring an SEC signal caller. I’m starting with 50+ rushing yards for Arkansas’ Taylen Green, and also targeting the over on Georgia’s Gunner Stockton’s passing yards, and under 0.5 TD passes for Kentucky’s Cutter Boley.

Week 8 College Football Player Prop: Taylen Green Rushing Yards

Green enters play with 463 rushing yards over his last five starts. He’s cleared 50+ rushing yards in all three outings, sailing over the 100+ yard mark twice. The Razorbacks are going to need to lean on their Senior as touchdown underdogs against Texas A&M, and playing from behind is exactly the situation we want Green to be facing.

In trailing game scripts this season, Green is averaging over 13 carries per start. He’s ripping off 7.1 yards per attempt, the most of any quarterback with at least 50 carries, and we can project extra scrambling opportunities versus the Aggies fierce pass rush. Texas A&M is top-13 in pass rush productivity, meaning Green will be forced to vacate the pocket early and often.

Week 8 College Football Player Prop: Gunner Stockton Passing Yards

Moving onto Stockton next, who checks in as a top-12 Heisman Trophy odds contender. His Bulldogs face #5 Ole Miss in one of the biggest games of the day, and the Rebels defense is vulnerable.

Ole Miss is outside the top-60 in EPA per play allowed, and opponent success rate. They grade out 94th in pass rush per PFF, and just 40th in coverage.

Stockton meanwhile, has cleared 216 yards in three of his past five starts, and is completing 68% of his passes. He’s produced eight big-time throws in his last four starts alone, and boasts an impressive 83.2 passing grade from a clean pocket this season.

Week 8 College Football Player Prop: Cutter Boley TD Passes

You know whose shoes I wouldn’t want to be in this week? Kentucky’s Cutter Boley. The freshman takes on an exceptionally strong Texas defense as a heavy underdog, and there’s just not a lot of avenues for success through the air for him.

The Longhorns grade out seventh in coverage and are top-10 in yards allowed per play. Their pass rush is a top-17 unit and Boley does not handle pressure well. The UK QB has a 29.7 passing grade under duress, with a 4-to-1 turnover worthy play to big-time throw rate.

For the season Boley is completing just 55.3% of his throws. He’s been held without a TD pass in two of his four appearances, and the stars are aligning for another touchdown-less performance.
