Every single day, I hear, “You can’t bet so and so because he hit one out yesterday.” I fall victim to it at times. It’s disgusting. But it made me ask the most important question I’ve ever asked myself, “Why?” I was stuck. I had no response. That’s because we shouldn’t fade guys who hit bombs yesterday; we should celebrate them by betting them the next day. That’s what we’re doing today, people. Feels right.

HR Parlay Leg #1 – Kerry Carpenter to Hit a Home Run

We know this guy as “Barry,” but his government name is “Kerry,” so that’s what we’ll call him in this article. Different name, but same sweet stroke. What’s huge for us tonight is, Carpenter is right in the middle of a heater. Guy just can’t miss; everything is coming up him.

The best part is, he absolutely destroys the pitch mix he’ll see tonight.

Obviously, he hit a bomb last night, which is why we’re super interested tonight. He’s going to see Zebby Matthews, who is actually a decent pitcher. He’s a guy we can target from time to time in the strikeout market. The thing with Zebby is, he’ll give up a bomb. The guy gave up 11 in just 37 innings of work last season. He’s been better this season, but we’re talking about going up against Barry here. This won’t end well for Zebby. It simply can’t. Feels easy.

HR Parlay Leg #2 – Freddie Freeman to Hit a Home Run

We need a guy from the late slate to pull off the magic tonight. I can already see that it’s going to be an incredible night. We’ll have action starting at 6:40, and that action will continue all the way until past midnight on the East Coast. It’s tough to beat that kind of Tuesday.

What’s crazy is, the guy we’re waiting for in the late slate, Freddie Freeman, smashes everything he’ll see tonight.

Sometimes we just get lucky in life, and Freddie Freeman is no different. He’s on a little baby heater right now, and he’ll get to face Miles Mikolas, aka Lizard King. Why is that lucky for Freddie? Because he’s got three home runs in just 20 career at-bats versus Mikolas. I’m not a big batter vs pitcher guy, but that’s damn good. Now throw in the fact that Mikolas’ fastball has been absolutely ragdolled this season, and that’s Freddie’s favorite pitch from a righty, and we have a home run bet. This is too easy sometimes.
