The Los Angeles Dodgers will be looking to take three out of four against the Colorado Rockies in the finale on Sunday, April 4th (first-pitch 3:10 PM EST) at Coors Field.
Game three of the series was a back-and-forth thriller, with LA eventually winning 6-5 after Zach McKinstry hit an inside-the-park homer in his first at-bat of the season.

Urias will have fond memories from the last time he took the mound for the Dodgers, closing out Game 6 of the 2020 World Series to capture the team’s first title since 1988. Now, the hard-throwing lefty is a staple in the LA rotation and will be looking to continue his dominance from Spring Training action.
Urias made five starts in Arizona, collecting a 1.69 ERA while giving up only three earned runs. However, he did struggle against the Rockies last season in two appearances, posting a dismal 5.40 ERA in 10 innings pitched.
Colorado’s current lineup though is slashing just .224 against the 24-year old, while the likes of CJ Cron and Dom Nunez have never faced Urias.

Considering the top-tier arms Colorado has been up against in this series, they’ve swung it well. Bud Black’s team tattooed Clayton Kershaw on Opening Day for five earned, then also put up six runs in the bottom half of the seventh inning on Friday to break up Trevor Bauer’s no-hitter.
Game three saw Walker Buehler hold the Rockies to just two runs, but they ended up getting to the Dodgers bullpen after his departure thanks to some clutch hitting from Josh Fuentes and Trevor Story.

The Colorado shortstop has been their most consistent bat through the first few games, going 5 for 13. Chris Owings has also been solid off the bench, batting .429 with a double in seven plate appearances.
LA Has Barely Seen Gomber
Austin Gomber was acquired by the Rockies in the Nolan Arenado trade this offseason, but his experience at the big league level is limited. The 6’5 lefty made 29 appearances in his debut season back in 2018, starting just 11 games. He didn’t fare great though, compiling a 4.44 ERA.
Last season was better, where Gomber had a 1.86 ERA in 11 appearances after spending 2019 in the minors. The Dodgers haven’t seen him much, with the exception of the time they lit Gomber up for nine earned runs across two outings way back in ‘18.
But, that was only about half of their lineup who actually faced the 27-year old, highlighted by Justin Turner who went 3-for-4 off Gomber with two doubles. The likes of Mookie Betts, Gavin Lux, and Max Muncy will be very unfamiliar with him on the mound.

By no surprise, the defending World Series champions have been raking early on, scoring 22 runs in three contests. Arguably their best two hitters in Betts and Turner got the night off on Saturday, but they have not disappointed.
Mookie is hitting .364 already, while Turner has four hits and four RBI’s through two games. One thing to note though is the fact Los Angeles hasn’t gone yard quite yet. McKinstry’s inside the park home run technically counts, but their big guns aren’t showcasing that pop, especially considering they’ve been playing at high altitude in Colorado.

But, all in all, the offense has been in a rhythm, collecting a mind-boggling 43 hits in three games. LA has simply terrorized the Rockies’ pitching.
Best Bet
Given how the Dodgers have been swinging it, I have to give them the advantage here. Betts and co. will get to Gomber and drive in some runs. The over has been hit in two of the first three games as well, which means there is value once again, along with LA on the Moneyline.
