DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls (3-4, 1-2 away) hit the road Tuesday to take on the struggling Brooklyn Nets (2-5, 2-3 home) at the Barclays Center for an Eastern Conference matchup. The tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm ET.
Chicago is looking to break out of a two-game losing skid here after falling to Joel Embiid’s Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday evening. Brooklyn, meanwhile, ended its four-game winless skid on Monday, grabbing a victory over the Indiana Pacers.
Bulls vs Nets Odds
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Chicago Bulls | +2.5 (-112) | +116 | OFF |
Brooklyn Nets | -2.5 (-108) | -136 | OFF |
Odds as of October 31st at FanDuel Sportsbook.
The Nets are a slim 2.5-point favorite with moneyline odds of -136 for an implied win probability of 57.63%. The Bulls come back at +116.
Chicago actually won two out of three against Brooklyn in 2021-22 by an average of 13.5 points. They’re 3-3 ATS so far.
Bulls Betting Analysis
Chicago has only had Zach LaVine for four of their seven games thus far due to knee management and he’s listed as questionable for Tuesday’s contest. But, the Bulls could be without several others, too. Andre Drummond is out, while backcourt duo Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu are also questionable.

Saturday’s performance against the 76ers wasn’t bad by any means, with the Big 3 of Nikola Vucevic, DeRozan, and LaVine all showing out for 20+ points. Vooch in particular had a massive night, pouring in 23 and grabbing 19 boards. It was a thrilling ending, with Embiid hitting a go-ahead triple with just 18 seconds left to seal the deal.

While Billy Donovan’s squad kept themselves in it, their 18 turnovers translated into 24 points for Philly. Although the star trio did their part, the rest of the rotation wasn’t great, either. No one else finished in double-figures, providing zero offensive support. With LaVine likely sidelined against the Nets, it’ll be up to DeRozan and Vucevic to carry the load and hopefully, the bench can also get more involved.
Nets Betting Analysis
Brooklyn isn’t exactly living up to expectations right now and there’s been non-stop drama around the team from the Kyrie Irving anti-semitic comments to Steve Nash absolutely ripping apart the squad for their lackluster play. Heading into Monday in desperate need of a win, the Nets got it done to improve to 2-5.

It was the usual brilliance of Kyrie and Kevin Durant that led the charge. KD balled out for 34 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, while Irving dropped a stat line of 28 points, six boards, and six dimes. Brooklyn actually had a huge lead heading into halftime but allowed the Pacers to claw their way back, ultimately winning by just seven points.

Some clutch defense by Yuta Watanabe and Joe Harris proved to be key in crunch time paired with a couple of big baskets from the star duo. The Nets shot the ball at a respectable 54% clip from the field and 37% from downtown. Ben Simmons didn’t play in this contest due to knee soreness but he could be back for the tail end of a back-to-back.
Bulls vs Nets Prediction
Brooklyn is just 1-6 against the spread and has gone 0-2 in back-to-backs. I honestly like Chicago here, especially given their track record against the Nets from last season.
Pick: Bulls moneyline (+116)
