After a pair of road wins to open the best-of-seven series, the Indiana Pacers (60-34, 33-13 home, 45-47-2 ATS) can push the New York Knicks (59-37, 29-18 away, 44-48-4 ATS) to the brink of elimination on Sunday in Game 3 of the 2025 Eastern Conference final.

Tip-off is scheduled for 8:05 pm ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and the Pacers are modest home favorites in Sunday’s NBA odds. Indiana ranges from 1.5 to 2.5-point chalk depending on the sportsbook. (Jump to the bottom for the best available odds.)

As good as the Knicks have been on the road this postseason – going 3-0 in Detroit in the first round and 2-1 in Boston in the second round – I can’t get fade the Pacers on Sunday. Indiana has been phenomenal at home all season, finishing with 30 wins in Indianapolis in the regular season and going 5-1 so far in the playoffs.

Their only home loss in the postseason came in exactly this spot against Cleveland: returning home for Game 3 already owning a 2-0 lead. The Pacers were downright awful in Game 3 against the Cavaliers, falling behind by 21 by halftime.

But that’s actually a big part of the reason why I’m betting on Indiana tonight. Head coach Rick Carlisle and the entire roster have already tasted the desperation of an opponent in this exact situation. They know the pitfalls of letting off the gas, even slightly.

New York wasn’t great on the road in the regular season (24-17) and needed a pair of 20-point comebacks in Boston to take Games 1 and 2 against the Celtics in round two (and then were routed 127-102 in Game 5).

All the momentum is on the Indiana side, and the Pacers already had plenty of confidence after eliminating the favored Knicks in seven games last year. After choking away a nine-point lead in the final minute of Game 1, New York’s belief appears to be on life-support.

I’m betting against Pascal Siakam, as well, though. He poured in a game-high 39 points in Friday’s Game 2 victory, but that was the first time in nine games that he’d exceeded 21.5 points, which is his total for Game 3. He’s averaging just 14.8 field-goal attempts per game in the postseason compared to 15.2 in the regular season. The Pacers are too balanced for Siakam’s total to be this high.

NBA player props from bet365 on May 25. Bettors can use the bet365 bonus code to bet on Game 3 tonight.

Jalen Brunson (30.4 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 7.7 APG postseason), who started this series with a point total of 28.5, has a massive 31.5 O/U in Game 3. Brunson scored 43 points in New York’s OT loss in Game 1 and another 36 in the Game 2 defeat on Friday.

Coming off a huge night of his own, Pascal Siakam (20.3 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 3.3 APG postseason) has seen his point total balloon from 18.5 to 21.5 O/U ahead of Game 3.

After being held to single-digit assists in the final four games of round two against Cleveland, Tyrese Haliburton (18.3 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 9.6 APG postseason) has registered 11 dimes in each of Games 1 and 2, pushing his assist total back up to 9.5 O/U for Game 3.

The Game 3 Knicks/Pacers point spread still shows a full one-point range as of Sunday morning. The line is as short as Indiana -1.5 at ESPN Bet and as long as New York +2.5 at BetMGM.

On the moneyline, the longest odds on a Knicks victory are found at bet365, where New York is listed at +115. The best odds on Indiana winning straight-up are at DraftKings (-130).

Unfortunately, the game total is the same across the board: 223.5 with -110 odds each way. I’ve listed BetMGM and Caesars in the table, above, but bettors can find the exact same odds at bet365, DraftKings, ESPN Bet, Fanatics, and FanDuel.

Sunday’s NBA public betting splits show an interesting divide: the Knicks are getting 67% of the ATS handle but the Pacers are getting a massive 75% of the moneyline handle. The public’s favorite bet on Sunday, though, is on the total, where 96% of money is currently on over 223.5.
