  • I have cooked up a three-leg +282 same-game parlay for Pacers vs Cavaliers Game 5 tonight
  • Darius Garland has recorded 6+ assists in 10 of his past 13 games

Game 5 of the Pacers vs Cavaliers second-round series tips off tonight, with Cleveland’s season on the line. The Cavs trail 3-1 in the NBA playoff bracket, after a humiliating Game 4 defeat. If Cleveland is going to bounce back, they’re going to need more production from their starting five. Two of those players headline my three-leg Pacers vs Cavaliers same-game parlay, with Spicy P rounding out the picks.

Darius Garland 6+ Assists-170
Max Strus 3+ Threes-128
Pascal Siakam 15+ Points-205
SGP ODDS at DRAFTKINGS+282

The SGP starts with 6+ assists for Darius Garland, and 3+ threes for Max Strus. 15+ points from Pascal Siakam is the anchor leg, a mark he’s cleared in all but one contest this series. Add it all up, and we’re looking at a +290 pay day if it hits.

Pacers vs Cavaliers Same-Game Parlay Pick #1: Darius Garland 6+ Assists

Garland is likely to find the ball in his hand even more tonight, with Donovan Mitchell dealing with an ankle injury. Garland hasn’t played more than 27 minutes in either of his two games this series, but with the Cavs on the brink of elimination, they’ll have no choice but to keep him on the floor.

That’s good news for our wager, as Garland was top-12 in assists during the regular season. He’s racked up at least 6 assists in 10 of his last 13 games, with two of the three failures coming in contests where he logged less than 30 minutes.

Indiana has done an excellent job at limiting assist production so far this series, but we should expect the Cavs to make some significant strategic adjustments ahead of Game 5. Don’t forget this team led the NBA in offensive rating during the regular season, and ranked top-five in assist-to-turnover ratio.

Pacers vs Cavaliers SGP Pick #2: Max Strus 3+ Threes

One of the players who should find themselves open when Garland drives is Max Strus. The sharpshooter has seen a voluminous three-point role this postseason, and is someone who could also see extra usage due to Mitchell’s limitations.

Strus is averaging 9 three-point attempts per game this series, splashing 12 triples in the last three contests alone. He’s shooting 42.6% from three this postseason, with 58 of his 80 attempts coming on open looks.

IND vs CLE Same-Game Parlay Pick #3: Pascal Siakam 15+ Points

Last, but not least, we have Siakam. I expect the ball to be in his hands plenty tonight, just like it’s been all series. Siakam leads the Indiana starting-5 in usage rate versus Cleveland.

He’s scored at least 15 points in three of the four games so far, despite not seeing heavy minutes. Siakam has yet to play more than 34 minutes in any game this series. With an opportunity to close out Cleveland tonight, the Pacers starters should earn a little more floor time.

Pascal Siakam22.7
Myles Turner22.5
Andrew Nemhbard17.7
Tyrese Haliburton17.6
Aaron Nesmith17.

Siakam is shooting 60% for the series, with a true shooting percentage of 65%. He’s made 46% of his triples so far, after posting career-highs in attempts, makes and shooting percentage from three this season.

Siakam is also extremely athletic, able to beat bigger, slower defenders off the dribble, and get out on the break when the opportunity presents itself. There’s plenty of paths for him to find offensive success tonight, and I’m betting that he doesn’t disappoint.
