Pacers vs Pelicans Odds
Despite not winning a Summer League game yet, the Pelicans are favored to win this game by four points. With -180 ML odds, the Pelicans have an implied win probability of 64.29%. New Orleans opened as a 1.5-point favorite before moving all the way to 4. The total in this game is set at O/U 186.5 and has not moved since the odds opened.

Pacers vs Pelicans Prediction
New Orleans has not won yet, and I am predicting for that trend to continue on Friday night. They entered the Summer League with the excitement of having two Top 15 picks in Jeremiah Fears and Derik Queen, but they have yet to get a win. They have shown flashes, including Fears’s 22-point game against the Thunder in his last time out. Trey Alexander also put up 25 vs the Thunder.
The Pacers have shown life and won a close game against the Knicks yesterday. Kam Jones has been a bright spot for this lineup, and he is fresh off a 21-point performance against New York. He also had 11 assists in that game. Indiana also has depth, which New Orleans has yet to show.
Indiana is averaging 99.3 points per game and is shooting 48.7% from the field in the Summer League. The Pelicans, on the other hand, are averaging 85 points per game in the Summer League and reached over 90 points just once in their four games. They are shooting just 38.5% from the field, and have made their biggest impact on the glass.
The Pelicans have struggled defensively as well, giving up 95 points per game. Indiana has gone over 100 points twice in the Summer League, and they have a great chance to do that again on Friday night.
Pacers vs Pelicans Pick for Summer League
The Pacers have the depth and the size to keep up with New Orleans when it comes to rebounding, so I like Indiana to keep this game close and potentially pull off the upset. I do not understand why the line has been moving in New Orleans’ direction.
The spread did reach 4.5 before moving back to 4, and I agree with that line movement. I believe the Pacers are the better team and can win this game, so I love getting four points to play with. A lot of these Summer League games have been close, so even if the Pelicans find their footing offensively, Indiana will be right there.
