Packers vs Steelers Opening Odds for SNF

The Sunday Night Football matchup in Week 8 will be a battle between the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) and the NFC North-leading Green Bay Packers (3-1-1) at Acrisure Stadium in the Steel City.

The Steelers are coming off a disappointing 33-31 loss to Joe Flacco and the reeling Bengals, who had lost four straight games by nine or more points before the upset over Pittsburgh. They’ll have a couple extra days of rest after playing on TNF in Week 7.

Currently playing the Cardinals in Arizona in Week 7, the Packers will be on the road for the second straight week when they travel to Pittsburgh on Sunday Night Football in Week 8.

Despite the scheduling and travel variables weighing in Pittsburgh’s favor, the Packers have opened as 3.5-point road favorites and are priced at -185 on the moneyline. The Steelers come back as +155 home underdogs with the total opening at 45.5 points.

Opening Jets vs Bengals Odds

The last winless team in the league, the New York Jets (0-7), are sizable underdogs once again in Week 8, catching 4.5 points against the Joe Flacco-led Cincinnati Bengals (3-4).

As touched on above, the Bengals ended a four-game losing streak with a 33-point offensive explosion against a good Pittsburgh defense on TNF last week, which moved them just a game-and-a-half back of Pittsburgh in the underwhelming AFC North.

The Jets, meanwhile, lost 13-6 at home to the Carolina Panthers as 1.5-point favorites, dropping their ATS record to 3-4, same as Cincinnati.
