Game 4 Hurricanes vs Panthers Prediction & Prop Bets for Monday (May. 26)

• The Florida Panthers can clinch a spot in the Stanley Cup Finals with a win in Game 4 at home Monday night against the Carolina Hurricanes.

• Florida has outscored the Hurricanes 16-4 in the series and are 1.5 goal favorites.

• They can smell the Cup in Florida, and I can smell some great prop bets and a smart prediction for Game 4 between the Hurricanes and Panthers.

Florida can become just the third time to make three straight Stanley Cup Final appearances since 1980 with a win Monday night at home against Carolina.

The Panthers lead the best-of-seven series 3-0. Carolina has lost 15 straight conference final games dating back to 2009.

Most experts believe the series is over between the Canes and Panthers, I’ve got my eye on some prop bets and a prediction for Game 4 Monday night.

Game 4 Hurricanes vs Panthers Prediction

The Panthers have covered the puck line in each of their last four games, and I’ve got to go with them Monday night to win comfortably.

Ten of the Panthers’ last 13 games have gone over, but I am slamming the under today. I can’t see Carolina getting much offense going, and I see this as another 3-0, 4-0 win for Florida.

I admit, going into the series, I thought the Hurricanes had a legitimate shot, but they’re getting beaten in every phase this series. Florida has outshot the Hurricanes in the last two games by a wide margin.

The Panthers are scoring on the power play 25 percent of the time in the playoffs. They forced Carolina to bring in backup netminder Pyotr Kochetkov for Game 3 to replace Frederik Andersen. It looked like a good move through two periods, and then Florida exploded for five goals in a 10-minute span.

Carolina has yet to find an answer for the Panthers’ physicality, but also, the Panthers have capitalized on every Florida mistake.

Hurricanes vs Panthers Game 4 Prop Bets

I’ve given you my take on the game, let’s go down some prop bets for Game 4.

Aleksander Barkov Any Time Goal Scorer (+195 at FanDuel)

Barkov has scored at least one goal in three of the Panthers’ last four home games against the Hurricanes, dating back to the regular season.

He had two goals in Game 3 and a goal in Game 2. He logs plenty of time on the Panthers’ power play and has a combined five goals in seven playoff games against Florida, including the sweep in 2023. Florida doesn’t have just one man they go to to score, but Barkov is one of the main guys.

Sergei Bobrovsky Under 24.5 saves (-132 at FanDuel)

This is my favorite prop bet on the board for tonight. The Canes had 25 shots in Game 3, 17 in Game 2 and 33 in Game 1, but I love the under here.

Bobrovsky is about to make his 16th start of the playoffs, only five times in the playoffs so far has he faced 25 or more shots. He’s 7-0 in his career against Florida in the playoffs with a 1.20 goals against average. Florida will suffocate the Hurricanes’ offense Monday night. Unless the Panthers take a big early lead and then fall back, I think the under is a great play.

Carter Verhaeghe 1+ shots each period (+340 at FanDuel)

I’m taking a flyer here, but Verhaeghe has been around the puck in the offensive zone a lot. He has only five shots this series, but he has five points with a goal and four assists.

He had 18 shots in the seven-game series with Toronto. In his career, he has eight points in seven playoff games against Carolina. I know Verhaeghe is going to be active in all three periods, and I like the payoff on these odds.
