Game one was an incredible showing, but you get the feeling Indiana left a big one slip away. Game two between the Pacers and the Heat will be this Friday at 8:30 PM ET at the American Airlines Arena.
“Two teams fought hard,” Lebron James ,who made the winning layup, said “We were able to make one more play.”
“Two great teams just throwing a punch for punch,” Indiana coach Frank Vogel said. “Our spirit is very high, very confident. We know we can play with this basketball team.”
Most critics crucified Vogel for not having Roy Hibbert on the court in the last play of the game. “I would say we would probably have him in next time,” Vogel said.
Lebron James had a triple double; 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assist and he became only the second player in NBA playoffs history to do so. Dwayne Wade scored 19 points, Chris Bosh had 17 and Chris Andersen 16.
“We’re excited about the win,” James said. “But we have to get better going into Game 2.”
LeBron James now has 9 career playoff triple-doubles. Only Magic Johnson, Jason Kidd, Rajon Rondo & Larry Bird have more.
The Heat is a 7 point favorite for game two and the game total is set at 180.5.These are some betting trends for game two:
