Wolfsburg is making some noise this term, emerging as a serious contender to finish in a Champions League spot. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund looks absolutely lost, having already suffered eight defeats this season after losing to Freiburg last weekend which leaves them in sixth place.

Borussia Dortmund vs Hoffenheim Prediction
Going by the odds alone, this would seem like a guaranteed victory for Dortmund on Bundesliga Matchday 21. But, Hoffenheim has enjoyed tons of success against the Black and Yellows in recent memory, so anything is possible.
This is arguably one of the worst starts to a season in many years for Dortmund. They’re just 10-2-8 and are in legitimate danger of missing a spot in Europe. The youth movement at Signal Iduna Park isn’t necessarily working out, despite the boatload of talent within their squad.

Dortmund has won just once in their last five matches, including back-to-back defeats to Leverkusen and Monchengladbach in late January. On a more positive note though, Erling Haaland has been in tremendous form, bagging 14 goals in 15 appearances this term, which puts the Norwegian third in the scoring race.
Hoffenheim doesn’t have much to brag about this year either, currently in 12th spot while conceding at one of the highest rates in the Bundesliga. After two straight wins on Matchday 17 and 18, they’ve been outscored 7-2 in their last couple of fixtures against Bayern and Frankfurt. It’s safe to say Hoffenheim also needs a victory.
Die Kraichgauer will be looking for Andrej Kramaric to stay hot in front of goal, having already netted 13 times this term. Hoffenheim suffered a 1-0 defeat to Dortmund back in October, but Kramaric was injured at the time. Prior, Sebastian Hoeneß’s side was on a five-match unbeaten streak against BVB.

It will be fond memories for Hoffenheim at Signal Iduna as they dismantled Dortmund 4-0 last June. Although both sides need a positive result here, I think you’ll see a draw, with each team getting on the scoresheet.
Pick: Draw + Both Teams to Score (+390)
Werder Bremen vs SC Freiburg Prediction
Werder Bremen welcome a confident Freiburg side to Weser Stadium this Saturday. The hosts have collected the full three points just once in their last seven appearances against their Bundesliga Matchday 21 counterparts on home soil.
Werder’s last league fixture was canceled due to snow, which means they haven’t played a Bundesliga tie since their 1-1 draw with Schalke on January 30th. It wasn’t the most convincing performance from Florian Kohfeldt’s men, rescuing a point in the last 15 minutes after conceding an early goal.

For Freiburg, it’s been a dream season to this point. They’re well in the running for a Europa League spot, just two points off sixth-place Dortmund after beating them on Matchday 20. This is the finest start to a term for Freiburg since the 2010/11 campaign, where they collected 33 points through their first 20 games.
Under Christian Streich, this side has enjoyed nothing but success on the road against Werder Bremen, going 4-2-1 in their last seven. Freiburg has secured 22 points in their last 10 league fixtures, which is currently one of the best runs in Germany’s top flight.

It would be very tough to bet against the visitors here. They are playing confident, free-flowing football and realize just how important every single match is right now. Freiburg is a safe bet here to collect another victory as they eye Europe.
Pick: SC Freiburg +155
Wolfsburg vs Borussia Monchengladbach Prediction
This is arguably one of the most intriguing games of the weekend for Bundesliga Matchday 21, with all signs pointing to Wolfsburg continuing their dominance. The Wolves have a 15-match unbeaten run at Volkswagen Arena against Monchengladbach that dates way back to 2003.
Oliver Glasner’s squad hasn’t conceded a goal in their previous five appearances while winning all of these fixtures. They also haven’t lost since Matchday 14 against Dortmund. Wout Weghorst continues to lead the line, firing home goals at a very impressive rate. The Dutchman has 14 goals and two assists while scoring in each of his last three appearances for the Wolves.

Despite their cinderella run to the Round of 16 in the Champions League, Monchengladbach has struggled in Germany this season. They’re four points off the top four and things didn’t get any better last weekend as they lost to 14th place FC Koln.
However, there have been some bright spots at times for Marco Rose’s side. Gladbach beat Bayern Munich last month in a miraculous comeback then also took out Dortmund in convincing fashion a few weeks ago.
Their attacking duo of Marcus Thuram and Alassane Plea haven’t been running riot like usual, combining for just six goals. It’s actually been Lars Stindl who has provided brilliance in the final third, bagging six goals and collecting five assists.
No @Deniszakaria8 today, but there was a positive update from Marco #Rose 💬

Wolfsburg is the clear favorite, there’s no question about it. They’re in great form and have a brilliant track record against Monchengladbach. But we’ve seen what Rose’s squad is capable of against better opponents. Put your money on the visitors here to pull out a very important three points on the road.
Pick: Borussia Monchengladbach (+175)
