Clemson has Week 11 off to rebound from having its 36-game regular season winning streak snapped at the hands of Notre Dame in double overtime.
But there are plenty of intriguing matchups among Power 5 programs now that all five conferences are playing again.
What would be the headliner most seasons is stunning in terms of its spread for the 2020 version as Alabama-LSU. The Crimson Tide roll into Baton Rouge as 22-point favorites against the defending national champion Tigers. Another interesting contest features Virginia Tech, coming off a loss to Liberty, trying to bounce back against Miami at home.

Bye, You Bengals
The year’s matchup between the Tide and the Bayou Bengals is a far cry from last year’s contest.

While 6-0 ‘Bama is holding up its end of the elite bargain, Ed Orgeron’s program is 2-3 and has struggled mightily on defense in 2020, allowing 478.6 yards per game.
That plays right into NIck Saban’s hands. Alabama hasn’t scored less than 38 points in any game this season and leads the nation in points per game (47.2). The Tide is also No. 3 in total offense, averaging 555.2 yards per game and 7.95 yards per play, which tops all of college football.
The 22-point spread is shocking – but LSU is really that bad. The line may come down a bit, but not much.
Hurricane Warning
Hurricanes quarterback D’Eriq King did it all for Miami in its 44-41 comeback victory over North Carolina State on Friday. The Houston transfer threw for 430 yards and five touchdowns, while rushing for another 105 yards.

Now, the ‘Canes enter Blacksburg as 1.5-point underdogs to a desperate Virginia Tech team that lost a heartbreaker to Liberty 38-35 at home. Does Va Tech drop back-to-back games at Lane Stadium? Oddsmakers say no, but if King keeps lighting up the scoreboard like he did against the Wolfpack, watch out.
Comeback Kids
With its toughest game of the schedule in the books, USC heads to the desert as slight favorites to face Arizona on a high following a thrilling – and mystifying if you’re an Arizona State fan – 28-27 victory at the Coliseum.

The Trojans scored two touchdowns in 1:32 late in the fourth quarter to stun the Sun Devils in the program’s biggest comeback victory since surging back to beat Penn State in the 2017 Rose Bowl Game.
Meantime, the Wildcats had their scheduled season opener against Utah canceled due to coronavirus issues with the Utes. Look for this line to potentially move in USC’s favor.
