When teams get behind, they throw the ball. It’s just how they roll. The Cowoys are no different, and they’ve got some receiving issues that kind of tell us where the ball will go when they throw it. It looks like CeeDee Lamb is out, and even if he plays, he will be limited. It’s the NFL, so the “next man up” strategy works, but there will be vacated targets.

It’s safe to assume some of those targets are going to Jake Ferguson. I have a hard time believing the Cowboys will be able to run on the Packers, so the ball should be in the air early. When that happens, our boy Jake will be busy. So far this season, only four teams in the NFL have given up more receiving yards to tight ends than the Packers. Translation: all roads lead to Jake Ferguson tonight. Feels easy.

NFL SGP Leg #2 – Javonte Williams Can Catch the Ball

I know what you’re thinking, and you’re 100% correct. It can’t just be Jake tonight. At some point, the Cowboys will have to throw the ball to some other guys. It’s just rational to believe that.

Lucky for us, Dak Prescott seems to like throwing the ball to Javonte Williams.

I’ll admit, I don’t love having a Javonte Williams receiving prop. Feels dirty. But with that being said, it’s the move. For starters, he’s caught at least five passes in each of his last two games. We only need three here, so we have some room for error. That has to feel good.

On top of Williams being targeted all the time, Green Bay seems to be allowing running backs to go nuts in the pass game so far this season. Only three teams in the NFL have allowed more receptions to the position than the Packers. All we need to happen is for the Cowboys to fall behind, and we’re home on this thing. Feels easy.
