The Nations League’s group stage draws to a close this week as teams take part in Matchday 6. A congested international break has squads fatigued – teams are in action on both Tuesday and Wednesday, November 18th, ahead of the return of domestic league football on Saturday. International managers have been forced to rotate significantly, and that will continue on Wednesday.
Group 1 sees two big matches with Italy, Netherlands and Poland separated by just two points. Belgium, hosting Denmark, know a draw will book their place in the Nations League Finals.
The table below has the odds for all Nations League matches taking place on Wednesday, November 18th.

England vs Iceland
Sunday’s loss to Belgium leaves England with nothing to play for when they face Iceland. Gareth Southgate will likely rotate heavily, perhaps resting Harry Kane again. This has been an underwhelming Nations League campaign for the Three Lions, who have rarely been able to put out anything close to their strongest XI.
Five defeats from five matches has already sealed Iceland’s fate. They were overmatched in the top tier of the Nations League, conceding 13 in the competition already. They are massive underdogs on Wednesday.

There’s significant competition for places in England’s attack. This match could be an opportunity for players to stake a claim. Often looking short on creativity in the Nations League, England will look to play a more expansive game against Iceland. They are +310 to score over 3.5 – that’s the pick for this one.
Pick: England to score over 3.5 goals (+310)
Belgium vs Denmark
On 12 points from their five matches so far, avoiding defeat puts Belgium in the Nations League Finals. Denmark’s wins over Iceland and England in their last two have put them in with a shout of a surprise group win, however. The Danes are two points behind Belgium despite scoring just six goals in their five matches.

Belgium got the better of England on Sunday to take control of Group 2 ahead of the final matchday. Roberto Martinez’s side might be without Eden Hazard, but the attacking triumvirate of Dries Mertens, Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku is as scary as any front line in the world right now. Denmark have proven a sturdy defensive team, though two of their three goals conceded in the Nations League came in a 2-0 loss to the Belgians in Copenhagen.
Betting Belgium straight up is a nice option to put in a parlay. The hosts on the -1 handicap look the best bet, such is the firepower at Martinez’s disposal.
Pick: Belgium -1 (+115)
Poland vs Netherlands
The Netherlands need a win and for Italy to slip up against Bosnia & Herzegovina. Poland are also crossing their fingers for a shock Italy defeat. A 2-0 loss to the Italians on Sunday left Poland with seven points from five matches and sitting in third in the group. Two wins against Bosnia & Herzegovina have kept them away from relegation, but they have taken just one point from their three matches against the Dutch and the Italians.

Although missing key defenders in Virgil van Dijk, Nathan Ake and Matthijs de Ligt, the Netherlands cruised past Bosnia & Herzegovina in their last match. Having scored two goals in their previous four Nations League matches, the Netherlands scored three times which should give them confidence heading into this match. They have the talent to be a dangerous attacking side – Frank de Boer needs to free his players up.
This has been a low-scoring group. Goals have been a rare occurrence when the top three teams have faced each other. A cagey first half with the Netherlands’ quality shining through after the break seems likely.
Pick: Half-time/Full-time: Draw/Netherlands (+440)
