Only three MLB teams have posted more NRFI games than the 48 recorded by the Pirates. Pittsburgh is 29th in MLB in first inning runs scored (0.34). The Marlins rate 28th in baseball at 0.31 first innings runs scored.
The White Sox, meanwhile, are 26th in first inning runs scored (0.43). However, the Twins are the second-highest scoring first inning runs team in the game (0.71).

Among American League teams, the Minnesota Twins and New York Yankees are the most potent first five innings squads. Both are averaging 2.82 runs over the first five innings of the game this season.
The Twins are getting the scuffling White Sox. Chicago’s South Siders are 25th (0.43 runs scored) over the first five innings during the 2022 MLB season. Minnesota is an even more powerful club (2.95 runs) over the first five innings of home games.
