Lately in the CFB odds, Iowa and Northwestern are doing it to each other. And after decades of waiting, Georgia Tech finally did it to Florida State.

Notre Dame, on the other hand, has been waiting more than a century to win another game at Syracuse. Saturday, the Fighting Irish get another crack on the road against the Orange.

Spartan Existence For Wolverines

Last season, Harbaugh checked off a lot of boxes that were long awaiting filling by the Wolverines under his leadership. They beat Ohio State. Michigan won the Big Ten title, and played in the college football playoff.

However, the Wolverines didn’t beat Michigan State. A 37-33 loss dropped Michigan to 3-4 SU against the Spartans with Harbaugh in charge. But the disparity goes back beyond Harbaugh’s realm.

Mel said there’s a lot of similarities to Michigan / Michigan State and Alabama / Auburn in terms of in-state rivalries.

Michigan State is 6-1 ATS and 5-2 SU in the past seven games at Michigan Stadium. The 7-0 #4-ranked Wolverines are entering this week’s game as 22.5-point home favorites over the 3-4 Spartans. Two years ago, Michigan State arrived at Michigan Stadium as 21.5-point road underdogs and won outright 27-24.

Stanford’s College Football Betting Trend Is Bruin

No one is ever mistaking the Stanford Cardinal for a college football power. Well, expect perhaps the UCLA Bruins.

ESPN gives #UCLA a 78.1% chance of beating Stanford on Saturday.

Six times in a row since 2010, Stanford has come to UCLA and come away with a victory. Not only are the Cardinal 6-0 SU, but they are also 5-0-1 ATS against the Bruins over this span.

Stanford kicked off as a favorite in four of those six games. This year, though, it’s UCLA that’s set as the 16.5-point home chalk.

Hawkeyes, Wildcats Are Road Worthy

Going back to the Big Ten, the Iowa Hawkeyes and Northwestern Wildcats are clashing this Saturday. The game is at Kinnick Stadium and Iowa are 10.5-point home favorites, which could be real bad news for the Hawkeyes.

Northwestern is 3-0 SU and 2-0-1 ATS in the past three games at Iowa. The Wildcats won outright there as 11-point underdogs in 2018 and as 11.5-point dogs in 2016.

Iowa, on the other hand, is 3-1 SU over the past four games at Northwestern.

Even A Rambling Wreck Doesn’t Always Crash

Georgia Tech went to Florida State six times between 1993-2003 and lost every game. All but one defeat was by a double-digit margin.

They’ll be carrying a two-game win streak into Saturday’s contest at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium. Oddsmakers, though, are setting the Seminoles as 24.5-point home favorites.

A College Football Trend That’s Code Orange For Irish

In 2003, Notre Dame closed out a dismal 2003 season by absorbing a 38-12 drubbing at Syracuse. Since then, Notre Dame is 5-1 SU against the Orange, but none of those games were played at Syracuse.

The Fighting Irish will be at the JMA Wireless Dome this week to face the #16 Orange as 2.5-point underdogs. The last time Notre Dame won a game at Syracuse? On Nov. 20, 1914, they blanked the hometown Orange 20-0 in the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
